Man I would love that.
Right now the only way to trade bookmarks is to actually trade them...

I agree too. Eve-mail should have attachments for bookmarks.

it's good and bad at the same time
enemy alliances could get your alliances bm's really easily from spies and that would suck
but it would make trading bm's so much easier which is what we need it's such a pain in the ASS to trade bm's

yeah well, book marks esspecially ones to safe spots and hidden asteroid belts sould be viewed as highly classified. this is somthing we are tightening up in our corp and keeping record of who has in thier possesion what bm's
a spy could just as easily place stolen book marks in a prearranged sec can for pickup.
mailing em wouldnt change much in that situation however it would make it easym to organise raids and things like that or battles so yoyu could send a bm within 5 mins of starting combat that way there would e less chance of you planned meeting / regrouping spot being given away beforhand..

Edited by: Daakkon on 01/10/2004 04:18:19 actually you are wrong it would change ALOT
right now you have to copy a bm in a station and put it in a can in space for people to pick them up or you take it to them
if you are able to mail bm's it will become WAAAY too easy for enemies to get bm's
this is a pvp game this isn't carebear like swg k?

understandable Daakkon. but if a bookmark is merely xyz coordinate in system x, then i should be able to "call you up" and then give you the coordinates which you feed into your nav system. so, in reality, BM's should be able to be sent via eve-mail.

yeah thats what i was thinking - be really good for mining- and not every one gets to go to my safe spots to get my bmks anyway, just exercise caution and a few security protcoles when ganging dont go to your personal safe spot.
wwouldnt change the game for those who were carefull about thier security.
