So I have been playing for 3 months. All of the T2 blueprints are gone. The veteran players got to buy them for super cheap and new players have can never make T2 anything unless they buy the blueprint or copy of it for a ridiculous price.
This is one of the things that makes people quit and causes online games to fall. The lack of chance of progression for new players. I hope they fix this but doubt it.

You might want to look into invention, it can be quite lucrative.

I had to think about that one for awhile..... and came to the conclusion that it has nothing to do with anything. letting new players make the same things as old ones is like the wichtrials?????? or slavery?

so you don't care you will take what is handed down to you from the ones who have them. Someone should have been smart enough to buy all of one thing T2 capacitor flux coil. They could have cornered the market and made a killing I bet CCP would have fixed it then

If you were actually around when all the t2 items were created only with those bpos, which were still extremely rare, and actually seen how much t2 items cost in this game, you like most of the people who do invention would practically kiss CCP's feet for making t2 production available to the playerbase.
Yes the bpos were a license to print isk, but there still was not that many of them, and almost every single item created with them was horrible expensive.
I have skilled up invention alts, and they do not require heavy skill point loads if you know exactly what you want to do with them, and while invention certainly is not perfect, I can create any t2 item in the game, and not be like a t2 bpo producer who may have gotten incredibly lucky to win a bpo, but only has something like a seldom used ammo one. He may be able to crank out truckloads of Javelin M or something, but invention lets you create any t2 item in game.
I guess I can understand your point in some way, but you have to understand that t2 production is infinitely more accessible and cheaper to the playerbase than it ever was with the lottery.
It is not perfect, but it is certainly much more fair than it ever was before.

Veteran character that started in 2004 here ...
T2 BPOs, at the time of the lottery, were never cheap ... several BILLIONS for a good one, and the bad ones didn't sell.
T2 items prices have been cut in half, and in some cases in ten, since the introduction of invention ... T2 is now available, instead of rare and expensive.
But, in this game, nothing is geared towards the noobs ... even the "epic arc for noobs" requires a bit of skill(player), some skills(character) and lots of research (by the player) to be done without losing ships left and right.

wtf is with all of these "omg i wish i could get a T2 bpo for free" threads recently. Buy one, do invention instead (much more profitable if you do it right) or more likely continue to cry - just please do it where I don't have to listen

So I have been living for 30 years. All of the easy ways to make money are gone. The original pioneers of America got to make money easily during the California Gold Rush and people living today can not find gold lying around unless they actually work for it.

be quite frank tho guys, it is about time t2 bpo's were phased out of the game, give the owners a 100. Run bpc and let them cry about lost isk so everyone can laugh at them and tell them to learn to do invention.
But yes t2 bpo's shouldn't exist anymore it is still an imbalance.
That or ccp restarts the t2 bpo lottery and keeps the invention going but with positive material efficiencies with the bpc.

While I agree with the removal of T2 bpo's (perhaps swapping them for some insane amount of t2 bpc's, I just think it'll cause too much whine.

Mmm, it was a typo, I meant to say that bpo's should become 1000 (one thousand) run copies.
