So plz post what you think is a good ecm setup. I'll be mainly be useing this for fleet battles or atleast with some support..no alone pvp unless I have no choice but setups for pvping alone are welcome aswell. Aswell as npc hunting incase I get the urge to do some npc hunting for some reason. (npc hunting setups dont need to be a ecm setup) you imput would be greatly appreciated.
I have decent skills especially in missles (I'm caldari and haven't really got into turret ships)

How hard can it be to figure out... lots of mid slots, lots of ecm mid slot module, go for general jamming or specific...
Read, experiment.

6 multispec's 1 sensor booster 1 large shield booster
That's the normal midslot layout I think. If you are going up against guys with more than 3 backup array you might have to take out the sensor booster or scout them so you can use race specific ones.

PDU is power diagnostic unit, i think. Anyways, multispecs for sure, or else u r not gonna hack it if u happen to meet a ship that doenst fit the race related ones u have fit, which is ofcaurse a 3/4 possibility. If u count the points, u have 16 points with 4, which is enough against any ship, unless they have boosted their sensor strength.
if u r alone or in a small group, u need the warp scramble and web, atleast one of those if someone else has the other. U can always lock jam, but if u dont scramble they r just gonna warp away so...
I have a question about the cap use of shield boosters, the booster really draines the cap, so if one is using one, u r gonna have to have a cap injector or some cap recharge modules in low slot.
If anyone has some input on how to maintain jammers and a booster without loosing cap, im definitely interested in hearing how...

Skills. Remember even with low DoT it has battleship class cap drain because it does battleship class offensive characteristics. No other ship can jam like a scorpion. Thus if you you had an apoc with its best tank or tach range setup... you would sacrifice something. If you want to use the 6 multi Scorp setup... you have to sacrifice something. This isn't CS where lone rangers can awp *****. Team tactics reign supreme and having wingmen to fill in your gaps goes a long way to winning the battle. -----

I would say: High:2heavy nos, 4xsige MED: 4xmultys, MWD, Disturber, XLshieldbooster, and web LOW:what ever you need to fit +some PDU*s and maybe ballistic control

something rarely mentioned but worth considering if your likely to only be fighting one or two enemies, and your likely to be in a similar sized group, is 5 racial ecms. 1 of each race and 2 of caldari. this gives you 14 jam strength for most, and 18 for caldari as they have the scorp with 16 (and the most midslots to fit eccm in). problem is, this means that: 1) 5 slots, not 4. 2) less jamming strength than 5 multis would provide. 3) each cycle lasts longer, so you cant switch targets as fast in fleet to stop enemies targetting (remember with multis, you can effectively jam 2 or 3 enemies at a time due to lock times...) but on the plus side: a) less cap required. b) i think lower fitting reqs.
and obviously, if you know what youll be up against, take just 3 racials of that race.
also, if operating in a pair of scorps, consider taking 6 racial jammers each, then between you you can jam 3 enemy ships, unless theyre all the same race in which case only 2 :)
