I won this bpo in the last auction edition and he refused to give me it, asking for more money.

Edited by: Just Ice on 04/10/2004 00:20:01 Well since he said the 1.1 bill was getting close to his reserve price I imagine that over 2 bill must easily reach the reserve price...

I won with 1.5b and ask me for 3b. If you will take the bpo at 2b i will be even more disapointed.

Yes you are correct. My reserve price was 3 billion isk. After careful consideration my corpmates and I decided to set the reserve price a little high. Since the reserve price was not meet in either auction by a verified bid, I am going to keep this BPO. I will offer to both Darklogan and Leisha Kael 1 free BPC for a consolation. I am very sorry that neither auction went threw. I did post that I had a reserve price on both auctions. I did give both top bidders a chance to give the reserve after each auction. If this isnĘt enough to console the bidders I am sorry. I believe that anyone else would have done the same.

Would have made a heckuva lot more sense to make the opening bid your reserve. This was just a huge waste of time for everyone involved, really. All kinds of money to be scraped together, etc. Sad.

BPO is not ready for its prime time and offerings are not up to seller's expectations... Your Heavy Neutron Blaster II perfectly strikes Serpentis Chief Sentinel, wrecking for 660.4 damage.

First of all you mentioned you gave me option to bid 3 bil. In light of that I offered 2.5bil to meet you half way (a fair price i thought).
Then you replied that you dont own the BPO and it was actually your friends, and he had decided to build some ships from the BPO (all in same conversation)
So then i offered you 2.5bil and the option of BYOC at cost anytime, again a fair offer i thought to meet each other half way considering the effort put in on the auction. This you mentioned was more than fair and you would get back to me. Unfortunately I found you didnt even have the courtesy to let me know your decision before I'm advised of this post in game from other sources.
I can understand the reserve price not being met but why hide it? you wouldnt sell if it was below and if people know the reserve they may not bother bidding if the reserve is set too high, you had nothing to gain or lose from a reserve price that was stated, as it it now you have lost an awful lot of creditabality.
Oh I forgot to mention you advised a bid of 3 bil was received ingame (strange how this was exactly the reserve or the hidden reserve suddenly became 3 bil) not to mention your own auction rules state that ingame bids would not be accepted. On top of that the corp that made the bid suddenly dropped out of the bidding very early when we all know they could and would have bid more (as proved by your ingame bid from them, then again having dropping out of auction would ensure they wouldnt push the auction bids up further and exceed their 3 bil so they would have to actually bid fairly and within the rules)
And now I hear rumours on the production grapevine that the BPO is now or will be shortly in their care.
The whole handling of this matter leaves a very nasty taste in the mouth.
Anyhow back to trading with fair and honest folk/corps, take care and good luck
(dont worry about the 1 run bpc Id rather be taken for dinner with the CA council)
oh feel free to move this thread back to front page so everyone can see the outcome

I belive this was the moment Mr arcadia lost all credibility.
