Three years ago today Galactic Geographic was formed by a small team of pilots with a shared vision.
We would do no more missions. We would do no more mining. We would engage in no more POS warfare or serve as pawns in the fleets of the major alliances. We would not be tied down tending to the needs of floating equipment. We would not settle for the safety and tedium of empire space.
We are nomads. We are free.
A fully independent, nomadic fleet was formed, unhindered by alliance ties or static infrastructure. We set out to explore the galaxy in a way few others could dream of, and for three years we have done so.
Together we roam the far outer reaches of the galaxy, spending as little as 20 minutes or as long as 2 weeks in any system. We make our living as we move; extracting what resources we can from a system before moving onward.
Our scouts are among the best in the galaxy, and we are kept safe from hostile ôlocalsö no matter the region.
We have carefully mapped our travels through the use of bookmarks.
A testament to our voyages: Galactic Geographic Map

Yep. We've been moving back and forth between unexplored systems and old 0.0 since the wormholes opened. ~ Santiago Fahahrri Galactic Geographic |

Well, I guess since you guys are actively exploring wormhole space rather than sporadic sleeper fighting or living in WH space, you would know. Have you noticed the existence of the so-called wormhole hub systems? You know, the systems that only spawn wormholes out to other wormhole systems. A soft word turneth away wrath. While its back is turned, shoot it in the head. |

I don't think we could say for sure. When we find a good wormhole we tend to take it and move to the next system instead of staying in one system for an extended period to see if all of the wormholes from that system share a pattern.
I can say that it seems like there are "deeper" wormhole systems, that have no connection to known space. Sometimes we'll get lost in a series of wormholes that only seem to lead to more wormhole systems. Shorlty after Apocrypha launched we got lost for about a month. After the first couple systems we couldn't find any more exits to known space. We must have gone through 10-12 unknown systems in a row, class 4 to class 6, before finding an exit back to k-space.

Now if only this kind of play was intentionally catered for...
WHs are a good first step, EVE does not support nomadic play as much as I would like.
Wandering about shooting people is the only other way to do it, that is until that stops being supported and they rename it supercaps-online, not long now!
Good job guys, live the dream!
