So i was taking a shortcut to Jita late last night when i came across 6 toons in haulers, all roughly 1mo old, and all named the same with 1-6 at the end of that name. It looks like the farmers are back.
We all knew it was going to happen. It was just a matter of when.
So anyone care to read the tea leaves and predict how quick the LP market drops back to "regular"? Anyone wagering on a sudden spike in prices so as to take advantage of Farmers?

Lots of people have several characters named the same with numbers behind.
I must agree the fact they were in haulers seems suspecious, but not enough to warrent a "DEFINITELY BOT" statement.

I guess i forgot to post that the name was Poyv... or some such seemingly random collection of letters. I was not inclined to stop and investigate given that it was lowsec space and i had more ISK in the cargo hold than was intelligent.
But point taken.

They can ban but its hard to stop them, they can just get new accounts, judging by these keyloggers on the forums they're trying to get accounts/isk easy

My clients must be the only ones that truly love farmers for all the fine work they do. Of course, my clients also love to see them banned. Then return. Then banned again...
May this lovely cycle of obscene profit never end.

I'd think the botters would try a bit harder to protect themselves by blending in given their profit motive.
A player with a meglomanic fantasy of controling the borg on the other hand, would love to flaunt his prowess running 6 clients at once.

Povylicheznik? If so thats my wifes grandmothers (on her mothers side) "family" name.
Its aparently a compound name (Povyl(i)Chezni(k?) as it may have been her fathers (or grandfathers, cant figure that out for sure)actual full name but compopresed into one word by some Imigation agent or other goverment burocrat somewhere who then gave him a "Anglicised first name" of Paul.
not realy sure how comon that name is in eastern Europe and even then it seems to have been anglicised either when her grandmothers fathers family left continental Europe for England or when they entered NY and then Chicago or when they entered the US.

/me thanks Steve for his wife's family history......
As for making some extra Iskies off of the farmers re-upping thier subs: Seems like a sound idea. Would I be correct in assuming Ravens/CCC rigs/cruise/perma- XL-booser tank mods are generally the items? Or are they smart and spread ship types out a little more?
I am new to the manufacturing/trading game, I just know they have lots of Itty's and anti-biotics...... lol

Sorry we had a heck of a time traceing back that branch of her family, all we know for sure is that was in some of the old family documentation saying they came from England but the suposedly the family came to england from Eastern Europe early the previous decade.

More derailment and willful failure of reading comprehension than I would have expected I guess.

There just saying this is not bot proof or even close. I am wondering myself when they will return though.

Well if you really think about it there is NO way to have "proof" that any toon is a bot.
But point taken.
So then do people think I am mistaken and the bots are not back? Or is this just a way to keep a panic sell off from being made (screwing traders who have invested heavily in the current bubbles)?

Well, there are allways bots in the game. But there is a diff between players running (a few) bots or dedicated RMT companies that have hundreds of botters.
As far as I can tell by looking at the market (mission loot and cruise missiles sold), the mission macro's still haven't returned. I have not been out to the mission hubs to sit at the station and watch who's docking and undocking though.

Theres nothing wrong with having 6 accounts running at the same time. Its not a crime to pay for 6 accounts its just obssesion. Hell i can run 6 clients on my computer it would just take some work lol.
