Three questions:
1. How do I block individuals (or everyone) so that they do not see my login status if they add me to their buddy list?
2. How do I block individuals (or everyone) from adding me to their buddy list?
3. How do I block everyone so that I do not see chat or get invites for anything from anyone unless I want them unblocked (I am guessing that there is no ęblock allĘ option so what is the fastest technique to add all other players to the blocked list)?

1. You can't. 2. You can't. 3. Yes, there is a "block all" option, simply set (in the ESC menu) to auto-reject all invites by default. People in your address book are automatically set to auto-accept.

Currently to stop the logout notification I have to leave my computer running twenty four hours a day and remain logged in but this is a ridiculous state of affairs. |

3. Evemail, right click Inbox, click Settings. Change the option to Disallow all instead of CSPA controlled. You will probably not see any public channel messages either.

There's no way to block everybody from public chat, like the Local channel. You can, however, auto-reject all conversation invitations and fleet invites, as described above.

Now comes the question: Why do you bother with who knows if you are online or not? Specifically if you LOG OFF or not? ----- Why doesn't anyone ever read the forums before posting? EVE is a game of adaptation and planning. Adapt or die. |

A lot of people use the buddy list as a form of intel (war targets, etc), so being able to hide yourself would be useful.

True, pretty much the only game I've seen where you use the buddy list almost strictly for enemies.

Welcome to EVE. Keep your buddies close and keep your enemies even closer.
