Theres a difference between asking for a route out if someone becomes trapped and being blue.
If someone asks for a route out then it is up to the discression of the people involved. Most people are willing to pay for a way out but if you refuse outright fair enough, don't expect to catch the person if they know what there doing they will log out as soon as they see the probes.... And then SD l8tr.
Only thing i would say if you agree to give a route out don't then backstab them... This tends to end with you getting invaded :)
Also i seriously disagree with WH perma blue coalitions. Doing the occasioanly op with other WH entities because you either fancy something different or can't handle it solo fair enough but perma blue... Go live in 0.0 |

i didn't say anything about lying about being trapped out :P
I admit to the really bad go at baiting but TBF props to hard knocks when they engaged they knew we had a decent fleet and they still went for it
It may also interest you to know that in that particular fight our 'scout' missed your entire fleet and it was only when i was acting like a noob warping round system that I noticed the large number of ships on D scan and subsequently **** myself and demanded that the guards damn well add me to their watch lists :P |

I think the argument here is pointless it is one of the great dynamics of w-space that one week you could be fighting along one entity as brothers in arms and the next week your tearing chunks out of each other.
Very few grudges are held in w-space (some are) but most WH corps will happily do everything they can to kill you and then if you ask them for help next week be happy to come along.
If you need reinforcements to get a job done being it defending, invading whatever your going to call those reinforcements.
For instance take the recent fight between exhale and starbridge vs Last chancers, aharm, norcorp, pandora sphere, Artic light. Last chancers were invading inferno technologies WH so we went along to help them out/get a good fight. Last chancers had the static locked down so the only way for us to get in was to chain collapse a C6. So we borrowed starbridge's static and chianed for about 8 hrs to find the system. We then went in hot and heavy and killed a archon, 3 bill bhaal and some t3's. Last chancers then batphoned the alliances mentionned above and they brought a force in.... To cut a long story short we fought exhale and starbridge won. Once the fight was over there was no hating or whatever it was agreed between the two sides to allow the other to leave peacefully and everyone was happy (ish).
This shows that no bad feelings are held between parties and next time others will team up with each other because it is whats needed to get the job done. Everyone gets a good fight so whats the problem.
Now if you call in extra numbers just to create a large blob and to just crush all hope the other side has then this is wrong and most likely your allies won't come when you ask next time.. |
