During the auction process we saw several new teams, who were not entered for the random draw, appear and attempt to bid. It became apparent that we needed a way to allow designated team captains from these alliances, who did not sign up for the random draw, a way to register so that they can bid for a slot. Below is some updated information which Alliances should use for the auctions on Friday, May 25 at 17:00 UTC and Saturday, May 26 at 16:00 UTC:
Location GÇô Due to the necessity of CCP Soundwave being the only person with voice access in the channel we will be holding the remaining auctions in the channel GÇÿLive Dev BlogGÇÖ.
Registration for teams who were NOT part of the random draw GÇô If you were not part of the random draw and have decided you want to bid for a slot the CEO of the executor corporation of your alliance can come and bid at any of the remaining auctions. If that person is not available and wishes to nominate a Team Captain to bid in their place, the CEO must send an in-game EVE mail to CCP Navigator and CCP Loxy and provide the name of their alliance and name of their Team Captain.
PLEX payment GÇô All PLEX for winning teams must be contracted to the character GÇÿCCP Alliance TournamentGÇÖ as soon as a slot has been won.
Alliance Logos GÇô If your alliance meets the criteria at the alliance logo submission process page, please submit an alliance logo in .psd or .png format (as an attachment only) via the petition system under GÇÿAlliance Logo SubmissionsGÇÖ and we will do our best to have all teams with a logo for this event. If you currently do not meet the criteria but are likely to have it by June 30, then please make sure you apply.
Please add any questions to this thread and we will aim to clarify them as soon as possible. All questions should be related to this topic only to avoid clutter. Finally, the winning list of the first set of auctions is as follows:

So alliances are being allowed to bid on spots even though they didn't apply? As per this post:

it would appear that either A you're breaking yet another one of your rules or B your employee's are giving out yet again more misinformation.
I fully expect that persons post to be nuked within the hour. |

Brosef rules, general rules and rules for those who aren't liked.
What's so hard to understand.
And then it also depends on who does the ruling, how does he or she feel at that moment, do they like you or not or do you even mater.
Sooo many factors which can make a ruling go one way or another.
And if you get a ruling by a GM you are still not in the clear because a Dev can overrule it and you end up screwed anyways for following a GM's statement. |

tbh i am surpised too. Though it is not clear from the original post (from da dev blog) it am suprised on this change. I would recommend that CCP
A) Make sure they want to stick to this
B) Put up a log-in ad about it, as anyone who HAS been paying attention would be under an incorrect assumption

No reason to delete the post at all. Loxy put up an edit within 15 minutes of the post going up:
Edit from CCP Loxy: You do not need to have been in the random draw to take part in the auction, but if you have not been in the random draw you can only bid using your alliance executor.
