Good question... I thought they were 'defending' that station --------

I always knew we (CA) had a large military, but, yesterday suprised even me. Open your maps and look at ships destroyed. Guess who lost nearly all of them?

You have to give credit where credit is due. CFS did have numbers on there side but there were facing a highly organized, disciplined, and motivated group of fulltime pvpÆs that new exactly what there were doing and had full control of the battle field for the get go. We were vastly out number with no form of support btw. I would like to congratulate CFS on quite an amazing 3 hours of fighting. Honestly a lot of people run/safespot/log but you guy defended your space with honor. You have to give credit to those of CFS who defended there space and station especial the ones that went back to more battleships/cruisers/frigates. I am certain I killed many of them a few times.
BTW foyle I did not see you offering me any popcorn. /me cries.

Perhaps your alliances lack of organisation is the reason many of these freelancers are unwilling to lend a hand.
You lost over 2 dozen battleships to a much much smaller force.
I doubt another 25 BS on your side would have made any difference.
Actually, no. They never lend a hand when we try and chase Mace out of Period. Another corp-mate was destroyed the other night and NO ONE came to help him. He is prob. one of the most respected players in the region.
As usual, you are talking from through your bum Josh. Another 25 battleships would have been more than enough to (1) make CA think again before attacking and (2) to destroy what was, at the end of the day, a small to medium sized force. In any case, we are not so experienced in fleet battles as the other alliances. The point was that some people sacrificed their ships and pods for the cause and others did not.
At the end of the day, I am only suggesting we need to rethink how we do things in the region, including KOS freelancers who don't lend a hand.

Lustralis,
You are showing your lack of class with the personal insult and your belief that 25 more BS would've made a difference.
You lost 20-25 BS to a force consisting of 4 BS and a couple of cruiser/frigs.
That indicates a much deeper problem than lazy freelancers.

I apologise for the PI Josh, but the fact is a lot of BS were lost during undocking. I myself lost a ship due to lag coming from the station. You should not assume those 25 BS lost were due to bad tactics/PvP ability. This is just not so.
The fact is, if people had all been camping the station, the firepower would have been overwhelming given the size of the attacking fleet. We had over 40 minutes of warning time to get organised. The defending fleet "relocated" at the last moment. It was something of a farce.

Edited by: crice on 03/10/2004 14:09:20 Although I was busy in the Veldspar belts with Xirtam, I listened in on battles. Much fun and glad to hear the enemies did hold fast. Great job on both ends. Maybe someday Freedom will reign!

You just can't knock down like that mate.
Doesn't matter who people are, what there corp/alliance banner puts them under.
Fact is most of those that are locals and have been for a while, they were out fighting.
As for the way it goes, we will learn, just don't knock people ------------------------
