Hey guys
Can someone tell me what happens to a BPO if I unanchor a lab while there is a BPO copying? The BPO is in a station and the lab is at a POS in system. I am sure I have done this before, and am hoping it just gets ditched back to station and I lose any progress it had made, but I want to be sure before I make an expensive mistake
Thanks in advance

Correct on both. BPO returns to station all progress lost.

You sure on that? I was under the impression such jobs are 'in' the POS and that unanchoring simply 'paused' the job allowing you to reanchor and continue.
I say this as I've scooped a number of labs and while unanchoring destroys anything in the lab at the time, upon repacking at station, they've spat out BPOs, which I was told was because those jobs were still active in the lab.

Offline the lab pauses the job. Unanchoring cancels it.

Thats because they were stupid enough to put the BPO in the lab to begin with. BPOs that are in a station when research starts will always return to a station if the las is unanchored or blown up.

Also confirmed.
The whole reason you can install BPs remotely into POS installations is so this doesn't happen. Some people may be a little daft and put BPOs directly in the labs though.
