Greetings.
While I trust many of you are already familiar with EVE Arena, a short introduction is in order for the unacquainted. In a nutshell, EVE Arena is a service that facilitates for pilots to pit themselves against opponents of similar ability on an even playing field.
I am thrilled to announce that the second season of EVE Arena will begin on Saturday the 1st of August. Season Two is scheduled to last for three months; winners will be announced on the 1st of November, and prizes will be distributed shortly thereafter. Prizes for Season Two are faction frigates for the top three players in the solo-division, and 1,000,000,000 ISK for the highest-ranked team.
The service has been refined for the occasion and now features battle reports (a killboard-esque representation of an encounter), a webboard and a refined set of rules. Please be sure to visit the knowledge base for details.

I wasn't aware of the first season, but have a high interest in participating in the 2nd! I have a few questons, which will probably be answered on your web site tomorrow so I will wait.
Looking forward to some good fights, sounds like great practice to me.

Registered, unconsensual pvp takes a lot of time for it to work out, this site and system is great for people who doesn't want to spend much time on eve
