What happened is exactly why 0.0 is in an odd state of functionality. There's no free space anymore and unless someone takes space for you or gives it to you ( through renting or friendship ) you're not getting any. What's worse is that when you finally get space you're at the mercy of practically every other established alliance, which always seems to end in who can bring the most friends to blob out the sun. But I suppose this is what happens in a sandbox MMO and I won't complain.

If someone wants you gone before you've had time to build up your military presence, chances are, you're gone. Unless of course you have allies to help you, in which case, you're riddiculed for needing help and your ally is riddiculed for helping. It's pretty silly actually. ( all the while your enemies are bringing in their allies anyway, as hypocritical as it is )

All I can say is congratulations to Goons and whoever else they strung along on their naplist. It'd be nice if there were some good fights, but what happened was just flat out boring and a waste of time, in my opinion. What could have turned out to be fun down the road, turned in to a situation where our alliance was basically throwing our ships like eggs at a brick wall.

What happened is exactly why 0.0 is in an odd state of functionality. There's no free space anymore and unless someone takes space for you or gives it to you ( through renting or friendship ) you're not getting any. What's worse is that when you finally get space you're at the mercy of practically every other established alliance, which always seems to end in who can bring the most friends to blob out the sun. But I suppose this is what happens in a sandbox MMO and I won't complain.

If someone wants you gone before you've had time to build up your military presence, chances are, you're gone. Unless of course you have allies to help you, in which case, you're riddiculed for needing help and your ally is riddiculed for helping. It's pretty silly actually. ( all the while your enemies are bringing in their allies anyway, as hypocritical as it is )

All I can say is congratulations to Goons and whoever else they strung along on their naplist. It'd be nice if there were some good fights, but what happened was just flat out boring and a waste of time, in my opinion. What could have turned out to be fun down the road, turned in to a situation where our alliance was basically throwing our ships like eggs at a brick wall.

That was actually us making a guest appearance for ~good fights~ when Atlas-Smash-Roadkill were being thrown out of the drone regions by a lot of angry Russians and ED/IRC carebears who didn't like being invaded.

We didn't show up to evict Atlas-Smash-Roadkill from their home in Geminate until after the dust had settled from their failed drone lands excursion. I believe we set a few records in the summer of 2008 for how quickly multiple Sov 4 systems could be cracked and conquered.

Ever since then its only been a group of alliances vs a single alliance or a group of alliances vs another group of alliances mostly.

Very rarely is it that any single alliance stands on its own anymore.... long gone are those days. So give up on that nap train blame game. Everyone now does it so it has very little negative meaning anymore.

Very rarely is it that any single alliance stands on its own anymore.... long gone are those days. So give up on that nap train blame game. Everyone now does it so it has very little negative meaning anymore.
