I guess? I play on a year-old white Macbook without issues. It has a motherboard graphics card (Intel GMA) and uses RAM for video memory. ____________________________________________________________

From the limited info, yes it should be enough. You need to post the cpu type and speed, and ram size. Also hd information helps.
But im assuming if it has that nice of a gpu everything else will be fine.

Edited by: Zeromentor on 02/08/2009 06:23:35 I run Eve on a laptop, though I bought it last year for 1030 USD. I don't remember what it has in it, but it can run 2 Eve clients without windows mode and has nearly no lag (minus Jita, but really, you'll have to do some work ingame to help with the lag in Jita).
No framerate loss, and I believe it has like 4 gigs of RAM. Again, I don't remember all the other details, but I can run most everything at high (minus shadows, on low for the framerate in combat). And I haven't spent an extra dime on other stuff for it. Also, not an Alienware. Toshiba something something...
But otherwise, it would depend on the laptop, the spec's and other stuff. BTW, Vista isn't bad as people say it is, it's just not as user friendly... ______________________________________

Depends what you use it for. I can run 2 accounts on my laptop fairly easily but its a bit of a push when you get into the 1000+ ship fights.

What ever you do, do not go purchase the laptop while intoxicated!
Is this a run on sentence or my signature? You decide. |

This Gateway laptop at 1900x1200 or 1900x1080. Even runs Fallout 3 rather well at high res and high graphics settings.
However, the newer models may have lower res screens nowadays. Bought mine a year ago.

That's Plenty
The Key (minimum) since Apocrypha expansion is: Can it do Pixel Shader 2.0 stuff ?
Since spring I use a $600 Toshiba Satellite A305 - S6905. It has no special GPU - just the Intel Chipset. "Mobile Intel« Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD"
For PC cards this is a good link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pixel_shader Look at the 1st column "PS" Sorry, can't link I had showing mobile chipsets.
