I remember my old days, hell yeah took a Thorax into The Blockade and wondered why I got my ass handed to me.
Three smallest size plates, four different size guns, no mid-slots? My Thorax was awesome!

ahh the beginning of Eve is great..
Trying to attack the tutorial agent in space the first time you logged into eve, and wondering how the fck you could warp away from it.
Attacking another player in 1.0 Chaven if I remember correctly and get blowned to pieces by concord..
Asking for help in local becuse some blood raiders were attacking you :)
miss those days...

Hey all thanks a lot for the good remarks, advice and short stories. The eve game community is really accepting and to me on a higher level than most other games.

Ah indeed WC lvl 1.
Its been far too long since I did that mission.
I remember flying it in a Merlin on my original character, getting absolutely mauled by the second room and nearly ragequitting (thank god I didn't!)
Then, after poking my nose in the noobchat, one rather friendly person showed me how to do the mission.
I hooked up with him and after a week or so, we went low sec ratting in destroyers, completely oblivious to how utterly stupid we where.
That was perhaps the most fun I have ever had in EVE, working with someone to kill a few cruisers and frigates, even found a Shadow Serpentis magnetic field stab, and once again, oblivious to it other than the thought "HEY I CAN USE IT" {fitted it to the Caldari Dessy}
then one day, went afk on a station and woke up in a pod, convo'd the killer and he told me that the mag stab had dropped and earnt him 50m from an afk dessy kill.
I felt like the world had ended because the most I had ever had was 2 mill.
Needless to say I am now a multi-billion ISK ship pilot, owning a Legion and a Paladin which I fly daily.

Hehe, I lost my two first Kestrels in WC once. It was the first ever mission I got :P.
And I had spent some time mining in my bantam to afford the Kessy as well :P.
And a little while later som kind guy gave me a Mill, and I "pimped" my third kessy and managed to do it ^^.
Ahhh, good times.

First mission I got handed after the mining tutorial was WC, I headed in there with my bantam, a couple of 75mm railguns and a civillian shield booster and afterburner......
