On the eve of it's 3rd Birthday we have decided that now is the right time to close MI down.
MI was formed by a small group of ex NBSI, ex D2 pilots who were tired of conquerable space and pos warfare and wanted smaller skirmish warfare.
It's been a blast and we have made many friends along the way, below is an animated gif showing MI's pvp history

Shame to see the corp closing. Got alot of good memories from being out in Great Wildlands with you guys back in Early 2007. Remember Fishy teaching me the ways of 0.0 and how to kill stuffs with some of the best PvPers in game at the time.

It is a very, very sad day indeed.
MI was my home in a way more than just a corp for well over a year and a half. I established friends, made new enemies & experianced a side to EvE which I wouldn't have anywhere else.
If I have to be completely upfront about things, there were two very unique chaps who meant so very much, Tikki & Piscis the Co-CEOs. Both hugely knowledgable individuals who made me laugh, emo-rage, guided my baby-groot steps and imparted sound RL advice. These guys have shed a lot of knowledge in my direction and I am eternally grateful.
To see MI close is a very sad thing indeed. The solace is knowing we are moving togther, as a firm group of corpies should, into QUAM. A like minded group who have a name for being arrogant hot-dropping smacking fools when the opposite is true. I look forward to flying with them and will fly the QUAM flag with as much pride as I have taken in flying MI's.
A very special mention to the following guys for making MI the brilliant place that it was.
