for a little while "so there i was, in jita" or wherever started to catch on. some guy had killed a can baiter, who then proceeded to instead call him the greifer. if i remember right the baiter was using a kestrel with all best named mods, maybe even rigged. it wassnt about the 'epic' kill of it or anything, just how funny it was. the thread really exploded for awhile. ive since seen a few variations. "so there i was, in C&P" for instance.

Somebody came in here whining about Veto dishonouring a 1v1, and Verone said it would be dealt with. The whole thing turned out to be fake by some guy who had some personal beef with Veto for some reason.

Alot of the crap pops up at different places at the same time, or independently from eachother. I'm still quite young and have only used the interwebs since the Amiga and BBS days ..and frankly, most stuff used to day was used then too.
But there's alot of "lingo" that applies in certain situations. I.e. internet spaceweb games get their internet spaceweb versions. Aaand obviously there's the pure EVE-related ones, like Templar Amarr Fighter, lol Amarr, etc.
..and I know just the perfect reply to this.

miz cenuij and fatballs were about the best thing to ever happen to this game, they basically invented soloing in 0.0 in a hac back when ***abonds were just getting started. in his prime i think a solid half of the eve populace hated him (miz) and he pioneered a lot of old hat griefing tactics that we know and love, like smartbombing highsec miners, etc. all in all it's our loss now that he's gone
