For me the demise of BoB, as a major entity, was pretty much a conclusion in terms of 0.0 warfare. I've retired from my NC corp and have decided to do some different things, but, I think BoB was good for the game whichever side you were on. I actually liked it when Tri, pre-implosion, was in Deklein and we had an understanding that we wouldn't be friendly but we wouldn't get bogged down into a POS shooting war. We had great smaller scale PvP during that "carebear" period. While BoB was my enemy, I have the utmost respect for the people in it, especially the ones who kept the place going. I would have loved to see BoB back in the North. Would have loved to have seen the NC leadership offer Venal to the BoB corps if they wanted a similar relationship to the one Tri had, it would have given the opportunity for great PvP (better than FW) without the drag that is POS shooting. In Venal BoB could build up their assets to a point they were ready to re-emerge.
