Has anyone pointed out that someone could just get a very trusted 3rd party to hold the isk, reducing the risk for anyone that might actual want to buy a spot in the Tournament? I mean sure you can still scam stupid people, but I don't think this will deter anyone in the future.

So you are QQing because I made a cross post in an SHC thread? A lot of gentlemen on that board were intrigued by the fact that I was selling my slot. I disagree with you only on one point in this charade. I feel that you abused your position as CSM delegate to gain some element of trust for this scam. If you had not been a CSM delegate then I would not have given a hoot. But I defintely feel your position as a CSM delegate played some part in people handing over isk. It is because of this that I will not vote for you in future; because you are not using your position as a way of improving EVE for PvP'ers and pirates as you stated you would (even if that also improved life for you), but as a way of solely furthering your own personal gain without improving the game for others. Do I think that wat I have said will make a blind bit of difference? No. Am I going to get some 'lol at your tears' from the scammers? Probably. Do I care? No, go ahead.
Final sentiment: Rethink what you should be using your CSM position for. I am not calling for your resignation, just a brief though about whether it did indeed help your scam and whether you're going to continue to use the position for purely selfish reasons. I myself cannot influence your decision in anyway.

Except, you know that even though he is CSM he likes to play the game. And Lark is a pirate, he cheats and steals, if someone trusts him just on the fact that he has [CSM] under his portrait then they don't deserve (sometimes) their isk / stuff.

Protip: One opportunistic scam based on a very select set of circumstances for minimal personal gain =/= using my position to increase my personal gain.
Have you actually been paying attention to what's been going on in the CSM world of things? I guess not. Please educate yourself with the issues I have been raising for and voting on. In four weeks time I will be in Iceland. Once I return I intend to write a full report on what the score is with Lowsec and all that jazz (NDA permitting).

Actively or passively your position as a CSM delegate may well have influenced someone when handing over their isk. You say that you would have done this if you had not been non the CSM. That is irrelevant. You are on the CSM so as I said, it may well have influenced the outcome of your scam. This is something you have to take into consideration now that you are in the CSM.
In response to your accusatory tone regarding the CSM: Good, keep doing what you said you would. I don't need to thank you. You said you would do things, I voted (as did others), you got in, you do them, that's politics.
In response to your final statement: I disagree that an increase to the trolls and whines was the only effect.

Did it exploit any game mechanics? Did CCP bring a halt to the auction at any time or get involved after it was revealed to me a scam? Do politicians openly lie and cheat? Is your 1 vote actually going to matter in the grand scheme of things?
SSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Please, we get the point, your not going to vote for him. I have never met or even spoken to this guy but it was a well planned and actioned scam which got him a small amount of isk. from an Alliance with plenty of isk. to spare. The guy is a pirate, pirates generally do not have a lot of rules, ergo people voted for him even though he was a pirate and it shows from all of the posative comment from people that he will probably be voted in again, hell I don't vote but Im tempted too next time just because of your whining.
I have been scammed once or twice due to my impatience and clicking things too fast, do I hate the scammer who got my isk. Hell No, I blame myself for not checking what I clicked more thoroughly
