The only ship that I find looks better then the original is the raven. However even with the better looks it still is ugly.

CCP needs to do something before Star Trek Online comes out, it wouldnt hurt to tweak a few of those ugly ass ships up a bit, the Caldari frigates and cruisers are enough to make you sick in my opinion, the Condor needs to get that limp wing fixed, the Griffin looks like a blinde man wrote the blue print, the Bantam is ok as long as you dont stare at it too long

If you're going to leave EVE because the ships aren't symmetrical, then you really won't be missed.

 Star Trek is a threat now? With their milk carton shuttles, IKEA Enterprise and the bird of gay? Please, that franchise is big despite itself. I'll peg it solely down to Nimoy looking weird as the reason behind its success. Everything about Star Trek is horrible but the borg.

I really think it can boost game's popularity , i don't know if you have watch EVE's vidoes but already we see Amarr ship and the Minimatar frigate/cruiser and they're symmetrical , if the players see the Caldari's ship before the creation of their character, i think they don't choose them lol ^^

1-Caldari are one of the most popular races due to the weapon system type. Less tracking, transversal, diminishing dps at range nonsense.

Human faces, animals are more attractive, symmetrically.
Vehicles, buildings, tools are more attractive asymmetrically.
Something about the Uncanny Valley. Living creatures are not defined by the same norms as objects.
The more you make an ASIMO look like child the less beautiful it becomes(unless you think of it a a newborn AI lifeform). You cross a subconscious moral line.
Even the Romans/Greeks knew this, that's why most tall buildings were built with a lean toward the center of gravity.(scared streetwalkers thought building was leaning over them) And odd numbers were considered the most beautiful for objects like columns(the disruption of pairs attracts more attention to the fact that the object is an object, utilitarianism).
5- Also, symmetry for spaceships is stupid. We all know they can hover through atmospheres. 30k years in future.
6-Star Trek is stupid. Bipedal motion is not a superior form of evolution. And alien women don't have human vaginas.
