With a number of allied towers coming out, Bobby Atlas directed his alliance to go save Quarantine Zone's towers in the 3AE-CP system in Insmother. Corp tax rate was set to 100% to encourage participation and raise morale for the upcoming fight.
Outnumbering goonswarm and their RA/ZAF pets, Atlas opted to engage the invading fleet as they cyno'd in via titan bridge.
Unfortnately for Atlas, Goonswarm had prepared for this eventuality and arrived with guns primed and ready to fight. The ensuing battle was a massacre, with Atlas losing 15 dreads/carriers and over 35 battleships, while goonswarm + pets lost merely 2 battleships and 5 frigates. Bobby Atlas called a regroup at his tower for the remaining capsuleers who weren't podded.

Haha surely you're not suggesting that Bobby Atlas ordered you guys to self destruct to escape the system in which you outnumbered or at least had even numbers as your enemies as opposed to helping your allies by battling.

I have to take back anything bad I ever said about Atlas. Today they proved themselves staunch allies, utterly prepared to engage an outnumbered foe and suicide themselves into us to help Quarantine Zone. A true meatgrinder this day, Atlas just kept coming and coming and coming, balls to the wall.
