Around 16.42 today, Huzzah kicked one of their strongest member corps, Core Impulse, after they alledgly sold their moons to a neutral corporation. After Core Impulse got booted, Huzzah continued on to siege the new-owners of the moon in Dastryns' pos. Givin word from an informant, BYDI and ADHD formed a small fleet of RR-BS to kill Huzzah's carriers, support, and dreads that were siegeing the pos.
With the BYDI+ADHD fleet a few jumps out, word of dreads leaving the battlefield comes in. With this word, the fleet speeds up and reaches one jump from Dastryns, and jummps in. Seeing local spike with the small fleet, Huzzah capitals begin to jump out and support begins to pos and dock up. All that is left on the field by the time the fleet arrives is a lone Typhoon, who pops in a hurry.
TLDR; Huzzah kicks one of their better corps, sieges a pos, and runs from a RR-BS fleet. All the while having multiple caps and support, outnumbering the fleet by more than 2:1.

Confirmed. This kicking also happens after 2 of the other strongest corps in HUZZAH leave 2 weeks before. They decided after having a surplus of moons left over from other corps that kicking A corp who was at number one on their KB 1 day ago(Before announcing in corp mail that we were leaving anyways). Shall be intresting to see the strength of HUZZAH fleets.
Good Luck

Huzzah used to be a good foe and on the flip side, good fun to fly with. I keep hearing about their PVP corps leaving. So, what's the real story?
IMO a corps moons are a corps business, once an alliance starts getting its sticky mits on non-alliance holder corps moons, it ends up in dramallamarage.
If an alliance starts kicking corps then running away from them you have to be a bit kinda

Usually I dont reply to dribble on here, but once I read this thread I couldnt resist.
Not only is CI NOT one of Huzzah's strongest corps but there was more than 2 corps that left recently. Valiant Research Associates left just over a week ago. Despite being a Industrial corp, VRA has sat on top of the Huzzah killboard as a corp for several months and on several occasion's as more than 50% of the top 10 killers as individual pilots.
VRA was first to go, The Fighting Mongoose, Cloak and Daggers and then CI. But I can assure you CI was not one of the higher end corps. Especially if an industrial corp can show them up :)
Huzzah has lost a lot in the last month, and its no suprise why. VRA tried hard to meet your expectation's and exceeded them in many ways. Never got any recognition for it either. But it wasnt enough. You moaned about our ship fittings, you moaned about our k/d ratio and you moaned because some of us pirated.

This is confirmed. VRA our Industrial wanna be corp (Proving BS at Jita price doesnt make you a industry corp. Makes you a logistics corp who doesnt know how to make a profit)
Also,
Its a fairly disputed subject. But I would say that VRA's 684 kills in 6-C(Gate camp spot) wouldnt count as being an awesome PVP corp.
Core Impulse's 91.3% efficency (in Huzzah) VRA's 83.07% efficency (In huzzah)

statecorp is the worst corp in huzzah, and we have the negligible stats to prove it.
edit. i'm amazed this fing has even warranted a mention on e-o, it's tediously boring even by CAOD standards...

Edited by: Viridiana Kirena on 07/08/2009 20:54:12 Disputed subject? I have only been a part of CORIM for two months and a handful of days. We were apart of HUZZAH for those two months. We joined half-way through the month and still made it to 5th or so place on the killboard. One of our ex-corp members led the top of the killboard week after week; hell, I think the only one to beat him at times was camping 6-C and killing nothing but rookie ships/pods and shuttles.
New month? Only a week or so into it, and we were at the top. Alas, VRA had left HUZZAH, so who knows who really are the better pilots.

Well. Pretty amazing stuff seeing this thread here tbqfh. So I'll give a flame-able attempt at a reasonable reply and let the CAOD community work the rest out for themselves.
In the last few months Huzzah has had some turbulent times with the addition of quite a few corps, and their corresponding departures recently. Guess what? None of this is news to anyone in Syndicate and some other alliances as well I'm sure. The usual growing pains associated with too many new corps too quickly - you'd have thought we would've learnt our lesson from last year and its corresponding purge .
As usual with any alliance we have a couple of factions - some more laid back who just want their pew pew on demand, and others who want to focus on continual improvement and more professional PvP standards and fitting and the like. Lately this went a bit over the top, and resulted in the departures of C-D and VRA.
Both of these corps had their pluses and great characters, but ultimately, the alliance efficiency and general PvP standards were falling for the usual host of reasons. We as the Alliance Leadership implemented some fairly draconian policies to try and send a clear message on simple things like standard ship fittings, and principles and the like which brought it all to a head. VRA - and in particular Ace Format, their CEO, despite everything were not a corp we wanted to lose - but other opportunities came up for them and c'est la vie. All remaining Huzzah Leadership have nothing but respect for him and what he tried to do. A bit disappointing then to see Sar's commentary
C-D had some issues as well, and I take some of the blame for their decision to depart - but ultimately I think it was the right call for them and we also wish them luck for the future.
TFM were a special case - and I need say nothing more about that except <3 Sash and the boys. 2 years in Syndicate and the **** fights over the last month take their toll on everyone.
Then we come to CORIM. Like it or not, Huzzah allocates moons to member corps, and strives for an equitable distribution (FFS they're only Medium grades anyway . But taking moons and then selling them without reference to anyone in Alliance leadership is obviously not on.
All of the corps to recently leave Huzzah have made their various contributions and left their marks. Only CORIM is -10. Cardie knows whyà

And so we talked all night about the rest of our lives Where we're gonna be when we turn 25 I keep thinking times will never change Keep on thinking things will always be the same But when we leave this year we won't be coming back No more hanging out cause we're on a different track And if you got something that you need to say You better say it right now cause you don't have another day Cause we're moving on and we can't slow down These memories are playing like a film without sound And I keep thinking of the night in June I Didn't know much of love, but it came too soon And There was me and you, and then it got real blue Stay at home talkin' on the telephone and We would get so excited, we'd get so scared Laughing at our selves thinking life's not fair And this is how it feels
Chorus: As we go on, we remember All the times we had together And as our lives change, from whatever We will still be, friends forever
So if we get the big jobs and we make the big money When we look back now, will that joke still be funny? Will we still remember everything we learned in school? Still be trying to break every single rule Will little brainy Bobby be the stockbroker man? Can Heather find a job that won't interfere with her tan? I keep, I keep thinking that it's not goodbye Keep on thinking it's a time to fly And this is how it feels
Repeat chorus
La, la, la, la; yeah, yeah, yeah La, la, la, la, we will still be friends forever
Will we think about tomorrow like we think about now? Can we survive it out there? Can we make it somehow? I guess I thought that this would never end And suddenly it's like we're women and men Will the past be a shadow that will follow us round? Will these memories fade when I leave this town I keep, I keep thinking that it's not goodbye Keep on thinking it's a time to fly
