Tried at least 6 times now, vista x64. I have tried both different installers, the offline gives me a corrupted file error whilst unzipping, and the online installer gives me a checksum error every time (after spending 2 hours downloading per attempt) What in the living f*ck am I doing wrong?

Edited by: Diddyo on 08/08/2009 04:24:54 I'm not sure if this will help but it took me a while to install SiSi on my vista x64 machine as i didn't read the connecting to Singularity thread properly.
This is how i did it and it was really simple.
Copy (ctrl + c) your main EVE folder listed under C:/Program Files (x86)/CCP/EVE/
Paste it (ctrl + p) in same location or where ever you want, i just made a copy under /CCP/ again but renamed it to C:/Program Files (x86)/CCP/EVE SISI/
copy and paste this shortcut to desktop C:/Program Files (x86)/CCP/EVE SISI/eve.e x e
right click on shortcut that is now on desktop and click properties, go to "Shortcut" tab, where it says target do this: "C:\Program Files (x86)\CCP\EVE SiSi\eve.e x e" /server:87.237.38.50 (remember to remove the spaces between .e x e if you c&p this line or just copy the end part about the server IP and place that correctly)
Now apply settings and you should be good to go, log in using the shortcut and you should be prompted with an auto-update that takes seconds to download then install.
I hope i answered your question as i am fairly new to SiSi also but this worked for me.

I've been having the same problem on vista x64, but I haven't tried the shortcut method yet. I'll try that when I get home.

/this worked for me as well.
You didn't try the shortcut method!?!
That's more or less the MOST IMPORTANT part of getting set up with a SiSi client.
