Hey guys and gals...I need your help! I am "forced" by my job to trade my PC in for one of the new Mac-G5's with the new dual 2.5's and 2 gig RAM. Sounds nice enough I know, especially with the new 23" LCD and the new 256Mb AGP cards. My questions for you are as follows: Which one of the two 256-cards should I choose?
(I think only the NVIDIA GeForce 6800 Ultra supports new 30" LCD wich I am saving up to right now )
Second and most importantly, what software should I use to play this EXCELENT but Win-only game that we all have come to love? I need an answer to this pretty quick since it has been 4 days since I logged on allready...time is ticking!

Also, before I forget...where are the servers for EVE? I need the actual physical location and not what servers they run off of! The reason why this information is so important to me is the "ping". Typically, servers run in england and france gives me a ping of 100-200 or more even with T3. Reason is that the britts and the french are not up to par if we compare them with the swedes or ANY of the other scandinavian countries for that matters. For example, I can no longer play CS and enjoy it on their european servers since they are located in england now, way to choppy and it takes forever to do anything...most of the time I just end up being kicked!

aight first nvidia 6800 ultra.
2nd there was a vote wether eve should be availible on mac and linux but most of the people said cp should spend their time in making the game better on the current platform.
eve servers, there is 3,, the main server tranquility.
mainly in london with log on servers all over the world.
its handled up to 11000+ players
and you will see 11000-8500 player on peack time in average.
thats were every one playes,
there is a 2nd server to test the upcoming patches before they re released like right now they are playing shiva expansion wish is going to be out 3rd of next month.
and there is a dev server wish is just for the developers.
dude i feel sory ur company had to do that,
but jsut go spedn that ú650 on budget Pc to play eve it will run it full details.

Afaik you wont be able to play this game on anything that don't have DirectX 9.x

not sue what port but i guese its 260000
