jut to ask i recently got hold of 3 T2 rigs bpc's and just want to ask before i go ahead and build them does anyone actually buy them, i know they are highly priced and thatsthe main problem but still. is it worth me building them and spending isk building them just to be let down by them not selling
any info on this would be great, and possibly any buyers that would be interested :)

I do believe most t2 rigs are used by ppl on cap ships. Since everything in EvE has a tendency to eventually get blown up, the cost of a t2 rig can only be justified for a cap ship. Maybe on a t3 cruiser right now since they're ~1b which is carrier/dread price range.
IMO, putting a t2 rig on a cruiser is silly since the additional few percentage points of whatever the rig does is not enough added bonus on what the smaller ship does without the rig. Plus you can buy huge numbers of cruisers to get blown up for the cost of a single t2 rig.

Well, by the end of the week we should see medium and small rigs, and placing T2 rigs on cruisers or even frigates will not be so absurd anymore.
Still, I'd recommend the OP be mindful of the "price risks"... the price is very likely to drop, but there's a slight chance it might actually go up, you never know. So, depending on how you feel like gambling with it, either hold on to them until after the patch, or manufacture and sell them before the next patch, or get rid of the BPCs by reselling them fast... because after the patch, anything could happen.

probably the only t2 rig that does not currently go on Supercaps and T3 ship are Cargohold Optimization II maybee Drone Mining Augmentor II/salvage tackleII

Just watch, Rigs get the same treatment as Exploration and Probes did.
Patch Notes
Rigs now come in three (3) sizes to fit Frigates, Cruisers, and Battleships.
- With this change, any and all rigs currently in the game have been erased.
- Any researched BPO / BPC have also been erased or replaced with ME -10 T1 mining frigate BPC.
- All salvage materials in Hangars as well as on the Market have been converted into Garbage.
- New rigs will require massive amounts of Quafe Ultra and Dairy Products.

You mean in theory they will be more fun to use, but in reality they will only actually give the bonus 10% of the time, 40% of the time they blow up your ship, 30% of the time your client will freeze, and 20% of the time they disappear with no warning? Also, sometimes just for fun, CCP will change the graphics a bit to make them even worse?

tech II weapon mod rigs like falloff/optimal are pretty common too, and after 1.5 imma gonna slap t2 rigs on EVERYTHING cos they should be so cheap :o

No. I am fairly certain that the current rig bpo's/bpc's we all currently own now will be converted into large sized rigs. Small and medium rig bpo's will most likely be seeded in the same npc stations you can get the current rig bpo's at.

I would use T2 rigs on a Marauder. If I ever get finished training for a Golem it'll wind up with a pair of T2 rigs. I wouldn't use them on most ships though.
