It was a bit of information overload, but the general idea was conveyed nicely. Also I rarely use the scanner in empire. But had a mission once in a 5 man pirate camp space once. I started to get a crash course on it real quick. Even finished the mission without dieing. (suprised myself) Did you catch the last Warp Drive Active podcast? Where Winterblink kept saying "ohh the hound is back! " silence. " come on!!! Almost got him". Silence. More silence " Damn it!!!" Thought warchilde would love it

I thik we were still rambling about it for well over 30 minutes. It was the beers fault. By the end of the podcast both of us were more than unsteady on our feet. Time to make a show with U'K. :P I liked the rant - even when it wasn't really a rant tbh. I think that longer comments make your podcast so special. BTW: As far as your battlereport about that large POS engagement is concerned the reason why no titan was in the fight itself is pretty easy. You can't activate the DD in low-sec. Off to train interceptors now (well actually, off to find that scanny thingy). If greatgrog.co are in the area I reckon we should contribute to fuel another great tutorial session.

The explanation on the interceptors and the role it plays was great. You managed to convey what it would feel like to be that scout for the fleet which is no easy task. You actually made me want to pilot an interceptor. Keep up the good work and if you can do the same type of rambling (Beer Induced Epiphany Moments) for some other ship types it would be a great way to break up the same old.. fit this item into this slot that a lot of the other podcasts/forum threads/articles have done. The one bit you all seem to bring to the table is the passion it takes to fly the ships. Butterball Oh btw I think you all have probably the best conversational style of the podcasts currently out there. Keep that beer flowing!

Quivering Palm Caldari SI Radio	Posted - 2009.09.01 13:50:00 - [21] bumping an old post, since Dillon mentioned some feedback he received on Podded episode 17, regarding the Planet Risk show, being too long for a podcast and lots of ramblings etc.. so I thought I should clear a couple of things about the show. First off, thanks for the plug! Second, The Planet Risk Show is indeed a live broadcast on a radio station that is not only about EvE, hence we try to keep some music and a generic newb friendly approach as to attract new players in EvE and also keep our non-EvE listeners tuned-in during the show. That also covers the necesairy commercial breaks. @ Quassar: Thanks for tuning-in and thanks for the feedback! Indeed, on 2nd episode we planned to talk about POS fittings for Wspace, but we kinda lost track there and we decided to not get into this at all instead of just mentioning a couple of things about em. We cover POS fittings in some length in episode 3 and we could talk about it some more if we get more feedback to it. As for the length of the show, yes it's 3 hours long (including music and comercial breaks) but we try to keep some eve related tunes (like curson dax's parodies - btw they rule!) to keep you from dying of boredom. Thanks to all who tuned in for the past shows - tomorrow we change gears and we go into the alliance tournament mode - we'll have some surprizes for our listeners and also will be joined live by PVP experts! And of course we'll be talking about some cool things regarind wspace as always! :-) See The Planet Risk Show for details!
