Then in the EVE Folder, resSND.stuff has some sounds in, but I'm not sure where the Music is kept now, or if it can even be extracted anymore.

Incorrect Corozan Aspinall, there are only about 28 tracks there, the game has over 50 tracks, including the "Eve Rock" series, so not all of the tracks are listed on the site.

Edited by: Darius Brinn on 13/08/2009 08:28:04 In your EVE folder from Program Files there IS another folder named "AUDIO".
Inside, there are 198 files, many of them .ogg extensions around 2Mb each. I expect those are the songs. Others are much smaller, so they might be sound effects.
The big .ogg files should not be specially hard to converto to .mp3, so you can do it one song at a time and name them with the game jukebox working.
Anybody did this? http://www.geocities.com/vagrantweapons/db.jpg |

Edited by: Blane Xero on 13/08/2009 10:42:38 Its not that simple afaik. You might wanna go to the Eve tech Lab subsection and ask there.
IIRC they are actually .tiffs in an .ogg container, simply playing the /ogg or converting it wont work. _____________________________________ Haruhiist since December 2008

As dorky as it is, I wanted to get EVE music on CD for my work commutes. :P
I have no issue paying either, but I don't want to pay for the official soundtrack, since it is missing so many tracks. I appreciate the download option, but it doesn't have the really cool newer tracks. I'll check with the lab, assuming CCP does not disapprove. (If you do disapprove, please give me another option to get them!)

The "ogg" files are broken. Here's how to fix them (or just download the fixed versions): http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1061629 ----- I'm a collector! Want to trade? See my Collection List and contact me. |
