so i`m a bit confussed, or even confused, oh well.
1 - launch a core scanner probe.
2 - drag size out to 32au scan.
3 - look at results
ok this is where i have a problem.
if a am looking for for wormholes, should i be then trying to home in on cosmic signatures or anomaly ??
can some1 explain the scanner interface with regards to , ID ans scan groups, which ones are plexes ? which ones are worm holes ? as i dont really want to track down the wrong thing.

4 probes would be best for triangulation (3 sides and height) and I believe it is cosmic signature. Usually once you get to a certain signal strength you will know what you are looking at and WH's come up as unknown.
Edit: I may be a bit off on with scanning anomalies since its been a while for me, ships are so much funner to find. I just set everything in a pyramid and scan, pick a decent target to lock on to, adjust and reduce, etc until I have a 100% lock on warp.

For wormholes you concentrate on signatures. You will need more than just the one probe though. Train skills.
When you get a "warpable" solution you will know what you have so no need to warp to other hits if what you want is a wormhole.

sorry yep i knew about 4 probes, so i just got to get the range down on cosmic signatures before i can tell what it is i`m scanning down, ...
so cosmic signatures can be a plex or wh ? |

Radar
Ladar
Magnetometric
Gravimetric
Unkown
You are looking for WHs, they are under Unkown like combat sites.
