Edited by: Zaphod Robotnik on 09/10/2004 22:03:14 Diaderi IX - Moon 16 Amarr Constructions Warehouse, Genesis Region - The British Space Corporation (ticker: BSC) would like to formally announce to it's customers it's official resignation fom the Curse Regional Alliance (ticker: CA) as of today's date (09/10/106). All British Space Corporation pilots will cease to fly the Alliance Colours and primary assets within the Curse Region have already been relocated to BSC offices within Empire Space.
"We feel that the direction of the BSC, and the direction of the Curse Regional Alliance are separating", Doctor Angry (CEO, British Space Corporation) said today in an earlier Press Conference, "And as such the resignation of our membership from the Alliance was a step we had to take to continue with the corporate plans laid down by BSC Management."
For patrons of the British Space Corporation, our return to Empire Space heralds a return to public sales of Battleships and Cruisers to the Genesis Market. Customers new and old are welcomed to the NeoCom channel "bsc_chat" for placing orders, or to our GalNet forums at http://eve.britishspacecorps.co.uk/ --

Good luck to you and nice to hear you'll begin making ships and stuff for the public.
Now, being SA, I'd LOVE to know the true reason for this. But guess we'll never find out ;)

Glad to see that a bit of applied pressure pays dividends when fighting CA Carebear corporations and I look forward to seeing you kicking about mining in Yulai.
Just for the record, how much did you pay to get these guys off your back?

Please be aware that our decision to resign from the Curse Alliance has not been precipitated by any offical warfare actions. Previous wars during our time within the Curse Alliance have not driven us from the alliance, and neither did the most recent actions - as I stated in the press release, a difference of direction is the primary and only reason for this move.
No fiscal transactions have taken place during this time - we can not be bought, bribed or cajoled into any action or inaction.
Please, in future, might I also request you do not use an assumed alias, and step forward with your true NeoCom identification.
Many thanks, --

Well, they don't. BDCI and Sharks had absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with our decision to resign our membership from the Curse Alliance. It had nothing to do with anyone bar ourselves.
For other people, however, who seem to insist on posting with alt characters, and who also seem to have problems putting their collective feet on the clutch to pull their brains out of reverse gear, I will spell out in simple terms why we have resigned.....pay attention, and alert me if you don't understand the words.
The British Space Corporation resigned it's membership due to fundamental differences in how the BSC wishes to move forward with itself, and how the Curse Alliance wishes to move forward. This means, before anyone screams "MINING TAX!!!!", that the British Space Corporation is not an attacking PvP corp, which is, right now, what the Curse Alliance requires. We cannot provide that for them, and both the Curse Alliance and the BSC know this.
We made the decision between ourselves, and after speaking with the CA, we have withdrawn peacefully, and, I hope, on amicable terms.
There are, contrary to alt poster fetishists belief, many many good people in the Curse Alliance, and some quite talented and resourceful ones. To them, I would like to say "Thank You", as our time in the CA wasn't a bad one, and we do have some good memories from being there.
As stated by my colleague, Zaphod Robotnik, thank you to DeeCo, 12 x Speed, and Jabaa for their forums, TS Server and CMS Program, and Milano II for being a genuine source of amusement....funny guy
Thanks to Foyle, who puts up with a whole load of nonsense and admin duties daily.....Curse would have some fairly serious problems without her around to do the things no-one else can or wants to.
That said, we have left.....we will be moving forward with our OWN issues and plans.
So for the alt posters, those being what a friend of mine refers to as the "Hats De La Derriere", post and flame all you like. We left of our own free will, your alts no longer concern us.......

Edited by: Omega Man on 16/10/2004 10:28:58 if only it was that easy to swap sides once more and wipe the slate clean. There will be people with longer memories than that surely. Can you just walk away from an alliance after jumping into bed with them like that.
Good luck ex member of CA. I am sure there are many enemies of CA just thrilled to welcome you back into the fold. And many members of CA that watch your departure with equal disdain.
And i think the clarification is asking if there are NAPs set up or exactly what your standing is with your ex-alliance.
