Magos, I respect that you have the rights to sell your GTC at the price you felt appropriate. But I also will ask this, would you not prefer to sell it at 700 million isk instead of only 600 million isk? That's a loss of 100 million isk, or 14.2% below market value. Think about it. :)

Recap: Dont cheat yourself out of isk when you are paying hard cold cash..
Buyers do and will try to blow the market below price by using friends and alts to post bogus buys and sells WAY below market value just to get people to sell cheaper..
Limit your low end to ~700M
People do and will pay up to 850 (750M mean) for each GTC.
Be patient.. wait the few hours for that 100M - 200M extra ISK.

If your GTC's sell then why complain at all and start this pointless thread? You must be some good soul that cares that other people are taking a loss when it doesn't affect you at all. THe very fact that this thread exists means you guys are taking losses and whining about it.

I dont think u addressed me in ur comments. I saw your post "i'll buy it for 1 isk" in one of the sales and I realized what petty child you are. It hurts you to the point that you have to go into other people's sales. You do not respect that people can sell their stuff at w/e price they want.
As for me, i rather sell fast and get it done. A few hundred million more don't make a difference.

Sure Magos, it is your rights to sell at w/e price you want. But if one day it was a reverse, and you do need that extra isk, and the prices has been pushed down to the low end, will you not want it to go up?
Beside, if you want to sell fast, you can atleast drop it by maybe 10-20 million isk below market. Don't need to drop it by 100 million isk. Right? :)

Have you seen the Dev Blog showing the Plex supply. There is an oversupply, more are being created than are being used. That influences the price of related goods.

Worse yet, a very large number of people have a lot of spare PLEXes gathering dust in their Jita 4-4 hangar. They bought speculating the price would run back up to 400M. Now all those PLEXes are just dead capital.
It's only a matter of time until traders decide they can make up their losses by trading something else and simply dump that spare inventory for what they can get. Look at the dev blog graph -- the number of of plexes in inventory DOUBLED since the speculation frenzy begun.
Mass gold seller banination kicked off the current price slide. And unless the gold farmers come back in droves there's no reason for the current trend to reverse.
And in summary, bigger blobs are the answer. Now what was the question? |

Thank you for pointing this one out. To everyone else, you obviously need to look at the graph that was produced by a dev showing that supply has severely outmatched demand in recent weeks. You're not going to get higher prices until that supply gets dumped and has time to run its way through the system.

what? the price keeps sliding down on plexes because people are starting to realise that there is a multi week backlog of them built up in the system with more comeing in every day at a rate that is FASTER than they are being used.

PLEX buy orders in Tash-Murkon are now at 286,500,000 ISK. Folk ain't even bothering with 0.1 isking for sales, it's 100,000 ISK drops each time.
