Edited by: Salia WinterDrake on 15/08/2009 03:11:48 Problem - you can see when devs have posted to a thread by its blue border. But you can't tell where in the thread, or if new dev replies have been made since you last looked.
Idea - In the page number links for a multi=page thread, make pages where devs have posted show in blue, in contrast to the normal light/dim orange-yellow.
This way you can see where devs have posted, and if you've read it or not (pale blue page number vs dimmed blue number).
Edit:Fixed title. ----- VPN-Firewall Guide

wouldnt mind seeing this as sometimes you have to go through pages of flame posts between actual discussion posts and dev responses Absolutely everything is subjective. |

Would love this will make finding new dev posts so much easier especially in the 30 page threads that normally have a few dev posts.
One other idea would be click on the blue bar and get a list of the dev posts in the thread so you could jump directly to them. Macrointel, the place were the nature order of the universe does not hold sway. Pirates and ore thief's are congratulated by carebears for the actions. |

Yes please. Its annoying to have to run through 15 pages of garbage just to find the one post I actually want to read.

I'm glad others agree - I just want to be able to see where in the thread dev replies are located.
A good example are the "Walking in Stations" threads that end up 10+ pages long... a blue page number would mean you could jump to your next un-read dev reply so much more easily.
I'm sure this would be less load on the forums than having to view all 10 pages one after the other. ----- VPN-Firewall Guide

posting in epic idea thread.
Full support, same reasons. I hate looking through pages and pages just to find the newest dev response.
