No I'm not joking.
I'm offering m0o corp for sale - included in the sale would be all its offices.
I want at least 5 billion isk for it. You have a week to summit a bid for the corp to the character of "The Reverend" - any posts to other corp memebers/Rev alts will be ignored. Around this time next week the five highest bidders who bid 5 bil or over will be contacted so they will need to be online.

Anyway, selling off one of the most famous corps while in their prime (for the second time apparently) is'nt an appealing thought. Handing it over to current members who want to continue it, seems a better idea to me.

I bid 1 Billion, and will make it the new Curse Mining corp. M=mining 0=over & 0=over. I assume this is beacause of Shiva, from what I have seen of Shiva it is a serious mining expansion, so why not have a new corp dedicated to mining them moo0oons...

So the guy wants 5bil to start shiva off on the pwnage foot and maybe make a new empire. Maybe he'll take the 5 bil and give everyone in eve thats playing at a given time 500k isk. =)
The new CEO is either gonna get along with them, or all of the members are going to pod him/her forever (since they'll be in the same corp =D ), and someone would have piad 5 bil for a famous name.

Long time ago, but good times.. I'm willing to bet the vast majority of people have a love/hate relationship with you guys and fond memories. I'd personally rather see the corp pass into legend, rather than becomes a trophy on someone's mantle or an imitation.

Good point - but as discussed about a month ago - shares play no value in the game atm, the CEO still wins every vote regardless, I'll chuck in the 1000 shares with the sell so theres no conflict of interest.

But that being said, I don't think that CCP would just give out 5 bill isk for it.
Sadly, while I hold nothing against reverand for doing this, somone will buy it just for the name, and nothing else.
It to bad too, as the person who buys it will quickly find out that the name of m0o is no longer what it was, and quiet frankly a laughing stock. People who would consider buying this are the type of people that will destroy, forever, the m0o name.
It does add a great story line to EVE. Not somthing that any of us wanted, but an interesting story none the less.

I've always like you rev, but the fact your trying to cash out on a reputation built by EVERYONE that has been involved with m0o, not just you, is pitiful and disgusting. And i for one know that a lot of ex-m0o feel this way as well. I guess trust, friendship, and dignity, which made m0o what it was, counts for nothing in the end. Just sad.

I think it would be more appropriate for CCP to have an NPC buy out m0o, and turn it into an NPC pirate faction. That way, m0o will still keep some of the notoriety it gained by being the ruthless killers that they were, not some shadow of its former self or a mining corporation or other silly thing.

I have no liking for m0o or their tactics as i have lost stuff to them often in the past, but if you think of this IC for a moment..... You have a CEO who has the majority controlling interest/shares in a corporation who wants out. And the problem with him feathering his nest a little before retiring is what exactly?

While I remember - bidders, can you please make sure you apply to the corp before the 4pm BST deadline on Sunday please. I'm pretty sure you need to be part of the corp for me to move the CEO position to you (if I'm wrong someone correct me please) and it will save a whole lot of time if you have an application in beforehand. Remember this needs to be your CEO character. Also make sure he/she has the skills needed.

Personally Rev, I couldnt care less what you do with the corp because the way I see it it will never be the same corp it once was anyways. Even if the same members made a new corp with a different name it will never be the original m0o i feared in my early days. Sell it and make a killing and good luck to you on your wise business choice.
