Stormking	Posted - 2004.10.11 01:01:00 - [1] Hi folks, I'm trying to decide between an Enyo and an Ishkur, as I will have the skills for assault in a few days. I want to be able to npc, but figure I'll be able to do that in either one. So the issue is PVP. Correct me if I'm wrong, but assaults' strength is taking on interceptors, right? And to me, it seems like to fight inties you need MINIMUM 1x AB, 1x warp scrambler, and 1x webber. Enyo only has 2 med slots, so is it useless for anti-interceptor work? Ishkur just sucks overall so it doesn't seem very appealing to me. Any advice here appreciated.

The Ishkur does not suck, with 10 (most likely 9 unless your really into it) drones and 3 blasters your gonna tear up most everything else..

Stormking	Posted - 2004.10.11 02:05:00 - [9] Hmm really...I must admit I was disregarding the drones. And as for using them against BS because they can't catch an interceptor...wouldn't a webber and AB compensate for that?

Cap Relay and all warrior drones = nightmare for ceptors. using the 1mn and the Y-S8 will get you to ~4700m/s, plenty of speed to catch intys, then you can web, turn off the mwd, and you can run the guns/10mn/web indefinately. I am the OG PIIIIIMP

But as far as the midslots go, most serious Enyo pilots regard their ships as "not meant to be fast" and then do not fit the usual 1mn MWD or 10mn AB and let her tug along and blast away. although i do like having 3 mids . . . . -Namelesz "I never run away.
