This doesn't eve need a comment it demeans it's self if you die of boredom you donlt reform 4 times with the same people to do the same thing.
Sure you do. What else is there to do in EVE?

Looks economically sustainable to me. This is hardly the first time a bunch of miners have gotten blown up in EVE's history.

Exactly my point.
The fights were a non-starter. The initiative was there but it evaporated and became high noon at the saloon.

Mining would suck without that nagging glance over the shoulder every time someone jumps into the system you are mining in. If you can't handle the stress find a quieter system.
I use to rat low sec for years it was fun for a while but made no money, it was alright I would find a 0.1 and do it till they found me and I would find another. Now I mine in hi-sec with two accounts.
Now I like high-sec, I haven't played in it since the first 6 months of 03 but you still need the risk from human players or the game doesn't give you that high of logging in not knowing if this is the day you going to get whacked.

Pretty much. If you catch one, point it and DEEPS it to death, you'll get your killmail.
And try to get the pod if you can. No sec status loss for podding !
