As youÆre all aware itÆs become ever increasingly harder and harder to make vast sums of ISK. So not only now itÆs the time factor to get the skills to do stuff, often now when you finally get the skills the ISK factor is usually a bigger problem without resorting to buying GTCÆs, Scamming or Corp theft.
The new game CCP announced ôDUST 514ö, Hilmar was quoted saying what EVE players will have to do is put up Merc contracts so Dust players can go and attempt to gain control of planets that directly influence SOV of systems. This is a further drain on ônot infiniteö ISK resources. All I see though information has been to date sketchy and speculation has been rampant.
The one thing that stuck out for me was it seemed a one way street IE: All your ISK would be bleeding to DUST and no mention as to if EVE players were able to get anything back EG: A 2-way street.
But I do congratulate you CCP because if thereÆs a way the Pirates, Scammers, Thieves of EVE will find it and run merry havoc on your parade. You are aware of demographics CCP well go and look at the average age between EVE players and any FPS MMO. You think you get a lot of whinging from EVE players now wait till you start DUST and watch the emo Rage from the 8-16 year olds. It also seems most of EVE players are older and honestly canÆt & wonÆt be bothered with console FPSÆs as its tedious so like me wonÆt be subscribing. If you nerf EVE anymore just to accommodate DUST players most wonÆt play either game.
But to be honest I canÆt wait for ôDUST 514ö to be released and to find out how to scam these players. YouÆve opened a can of worms CCP and the fruits of your 3 years labour may not work out exactly as you imagined.
To sum up, bring it on CCP and IÆm sure EVE players will make ôDUST 514ö exactly that DUST.
So everyone if you could call it ôTHIS IS HELL 514ö IÆm sure CCP will get the picture.

Well, all these DUST players will have to buy their toys from SOMEWHERE. Vehicles, armor, ammo. So that will probably be how the ISK flows back in.
I am also guessing that CCP will discover that their is not enough demand to keep people buying DUST marines all the time, so some kind of NPC mission structure like factional warfare will probalby be put in place.

Dust is a potential method of tapping into a vast well of tears. Too much effort per tear in eve at the moment. I get more tears and death threats sent to me from browser games at the moment.
