it might be, but who the hell uses coldfront =P
gamesurge has a MUCH larger userbase, and is generaly accepted as the standard gaming irc (along side quakenet =P)

Correct, however gamesurge is 'bigger' than Coldfront, so people naturally assumed and it started to get some traction over there.
Really, gamesurge people need to migrate over to coldfront.

there's already channels on Coldfront and Quakenet with 201/249 in, respectively. we don't need a third.

Why would anyone migrate from the largest gaming irc to coldfront, some small, relatively unknown irc?
Anyways, idle on whatever network you want, i just wanted to point out the channel on gamesurge. We don't all want to idle on small obscure networks =P

Unless you are using a console based IRC client, you can connect to multiple servers at the same time. Shouldn't be that 'big of a deal' really.

It may be small and backwater, but it's also the home of the CCP devs :p

Coldfront is where the devs are, as far as I know, so you'll never see any significant move from coldfront to whatever IRC you're talking about.

"Console" as in PS3 or as in command line? Just wondering, because my irssi seems to connect to multiple servers at the same time without issue. |

People still use IRC?
Cool.
But yeah, a third channel really isn't needed. The two that are currently active is where the devs hang out among with all of the heroes of the game such as myself. |

Yeah, most of the console ones should / did, *****X, etc. Not sure vanilla ircii did, but, most that came after it should. |
