Well, usual patch day problems aside, whines about skills, "I want my money back" etc. This one does seem to be the worst in the 18 months I've been playing. Very few people on and an enormo-queue to get on for 10 mins before you're booted.
What's bothering me now though is how quick CCP seem to lock threads criticising them, outside a seemingly narrow set of rules. Don't like your content? Lock. Discussing dev actions? Lock. Killmail? Lock. etc, etc,
Sorry to digress, but I thought CCP had a pretty cool attitude when I started playing, sometimes I wonder if I was wrong.
Woot for setting a 7 day skill anyway :)

so what ? u play like 17d now ? or lets say 21d + 17d adding any buddy program free time and assuming u signed up after it was over....
u think u can judge how downtimes in EvE are ? tbh a downtime like this rarely ever happens and IF its cuz there is an actual FREE expansion (usually means loads of new stuff to implement) going to be deployed ...
so what ... ?

This stinks, I spent 2 hours waiting to log in to see the message the server will be rebooted in 5 minutes. Why can't ccp update the message on the log in screen? It isn't rocket science. I won't go into a rant about why they can't manage to get the patch done by the time stated. Surely it would be better to say the server will be down for a longer period of time than they need.

you can tell that the loverly EVE team are actualy doing things to
help as the servers are going up and down.
just hold on, there's just been another server change =]

stop whining. only software developers understand, that bugs and unexpected delays are normal to all software there ever was. this is a huge system and you don't even realise what it takes to manage one.

ok wait a second here , are you telling me this is abnormal then , and that we are getting a 7 day training que also ??? seriously thank you to all the people who have replied with valuable info about this update and others , i really had no idea and i have been just trying to understand wth is goin on here thats all , now that you explain they are implementing new ships riggs , pods , and all this stuff , i completly understand , if i had known any of this before now i would not have been ranting like this around here , if anyone knows anything about the human condition and response triggers , confusion is the same as anger , and i was confused , sorry for flipping out :P

strange queue isnt it?
i was like 700 in queue with 7k players, after a very short time ive been 70 in queue with 14k online! lol
