DeODokktor	Posted - 2004.10.12 14:39:00 - [1] I get this REALLY odd thing sometimes.. a Pure black screen (like the one you get when going from station -> space or vice versa).. If I hit esc then the current backdrop comes up with the haze over it and then the menu (My video card is working see, Wanted to include that before someone said it) .. Also the screen is responsive cause if I move the mouse around then the popups come out for the mouseover items. Autopilot and stuff. This happens in space and on station but it's rare.. Anyone have any ideas on this one.. And BTW.. I will not remove any hardware from my pc cause It's not a hardware issue.

Mabinogion	Posted - 2004.10.12 21:48:00 - [3] Its a bug mate (gosh ), most people seem to just call it black screening. I hate it. Nearly as annoying as the constantly 'loading' load bar imo. Need to restart the client I find normally curse it :(

Sucks when it happens during battles.. and it seems like once it starts it just keeps happening for days :( .. Sigh.. Thanks for confirming it's not just me.

The picture comes back at some point and i get the usual lag bug of cap draining to zero then refilling to 100% instantly so no idea what the actual cap is :( Possibly it happens when undocking and the servers have chose to ignore you so you're trapped in mid session change waiting for them to remember you exist ======================================== All Your Megabytes are belong to eve :( ========================================

Toshiro Hasegawa	Posted - 2004.10.21 14:59:00 - [15] not sure .. as i havnt spent alot of time on tranq lately, but it appears the error does not happen in Shiva and it may be that the problem was a simple as power saver settings in xp for my monitor .. not that that makes any sense .. but i didnt get blackscreen while i was on for 20-30mins yersterday .. i will continue testing and post if i prove or disprove this latest assumption. do not assume as it makes an ass out of u and me - History is the Study of Change
