The fit posted above is good. Just so we're clear, you don't put a web on a vaga because you should never go into web range. A webbed and/or scrammed vaga is a dead vaga.

swap the web for a second LSE and the 220s for 180s and that's what I run, I like it a lot.
Have thought about using larger guns and extender rigs instead but I find that the ambits let me get more shots in from further away, which helps you finish the kill when the blob lands. __________________________________

ambit rigs are great. and ehhrm, never warp to 0 on anything in a vaga you havent scanned :D neut is also a must have or you will die to mwd'ing assault frigs and solo interceptors at the slightest mistake.
- dual180s + neut (because of fitting, but tracking is nice to have) - dual extenders (need to tank drones a lot) - 3 gyros. the last two slots are to preference. most of the time I do dual nano, but sometimes a nano and damage control. |

If you don't fit a neut you are basically asking to die to a solo taranis.

0.0/general pvp: [Vagabond, Current] Gyrostabilizer II Gyrostabilizer II Gyrostabilizer II Power Diagnostic System II Damage Control II
10MN MicroWarpdrive II Warp Disruptor II Large Shield Extender II Large Shield Extender II
220mm Vulcan AutoCannon II, Republic Fleet EMP M 220mm Vulcan AutoCannon II, Republic Fleet EMP M 220mm Vulcan AutoCannon II, Republic Fleet EMP M 220mm Vulcan AutoCannon II, Republic Fleet EMP M 220mm Vulcan AutoCannon II, Republic Fleet EMP M Medium Unstable Power Fluctuator I
Anti-Kinetic Screen Reinforcer I Core Defence Field Extender I
Warrior II x5
504 DPS at 5km with my skills 36k EHP very not cap stable
IMO (matter of taste I guess), fitting speedmods is pointless. You'll outrun all the other cruisers with none, but still not frigates/small ****, so don't bother.
Also, huge amounts of EHP = ****ing win.
Thirdly, neuting scramceptors off your ass can save your ship as well as annihilate cap intensive setups. I completely rocked a zealot mostly by neuting his cap off. Got me down to 80% shield before he capped out and was in deep structure. And against active tanks (if you're cool getting in web range), it's far more effective than the paltry DPS from a launcher.
And for killing mission runners: [Vagabond, Mission Killer 425s] Gyrostabilizer II Gyrostabilizer II Gyrostabilizer II Power Diagnostic System II Power Diagnostic System II
Warp Disruptor II 10MN Afterburner II Large Shield Extender II Large Shield Extender II
425mm AutoCannon II, Republic Fleet EMP M 425mm AutoCannon II, Republic Fleet EMP M 425mm AutoCannon II, Republic Fleet EMP M 425mm AutoCannon II, Republic Fleet EMP M 220mm Vulcan AutoCannon II, Republic Fleet EMP M Medium Unstable Power Fluctuator I
Anti-Kinetic Screen Reinforcer I Core Defence Field Extender I
Hobgoblin II x5
540 DPS at ~5km w/my skills.
Cap lasts for a hilarious 25 minutes with even the neut running. Once I get afterburners V, it'll be completely cap stable.
Designed to operate in web range, though you don't have to.
Tanks high dps cruise/torp output easily, but you'd probably want to kill their drones if they have a strong tank that'll take a while to bust. Once I get Shield Upgrades V, I can fit five 425s.
Note for both setups: Having HAC V + liking to get in close for face melting DPS means I don't really need ambits. Plugging the kinetic hole means so much more to me. since a buffer means more than range usually. - Support DISBANDING the Alliance CCP Renamed at the Alliance's Request |

fitting a dmg control instead of a second nano is oke.
but not fitting ambit rigs is not. you fight in fall off mostly and fighting in falloff means more less dmg. more fall off means less dmg loss in the end.

No, it means you either don't understand falloff mechanics or you only fight idiots because if you go into tackle range of anyone remotely competent they will tear your face off.

Sacrifice 13,000 HP for 400m/s while MDWing and 34 dps at 21km? lol!

You've obviously never fought a sniper or LR HAC, or a ****** without web.
The crazy dps combined with battlecruiser like HP means you can often get up in their face and pop them before they pop you.

Cookie-cutter Vagabond should pretty much be this:
Nano II Nano II DMC II (EVERY pvp ship should have this) Gyro II Gyro II
LSE II LSE II MWD Disruptor II (faction for more range, if you have the ISK)
5x 220mm AC II's or 180mm AC II's Neutralizer isn't a bad idea, but around my parts, that last high slot is usually a cloak
Ambit rigs, Warrior II's
You should kill most frigates before they can get close, especially considering the speed of the Vagabond.

Who the hell flies a sniper alone? Crazy dps? Battlecruiser like hp? Are we even talking about the same ship? You're delusional. Get out.
