Guys, I cant see anything on the gate 170+ KM away.... what did you guys do to the visual distances? There's nothing on my overview either... bug?

I think I may have been seeing more grid weirdness since the patch. I have had a couple instances of being at a safe around 200km from the gate, and I'm on grid. Then someone else warps in (in this case directly to the gate), and suddenly I am off grid.

the goonies through out a grid-fu manual a little while ago. Great piece of work, I sugjest you read it. You can also do some awsome things with hard walls and baiting tacklers

I was in 00 the other day and wanted to rat for a little bit.
After a few runs I noticed that the next belt spawn (1 BS and 4 frigates) was running away from my little Dominix. I thought it was nothing and started the chase with a small MWD boost. But after a minute I noticed that thTy were actually faster than mT!
So after 10-30 minutes, I came back and saw they were 1000 kilometres away from the belt but still on the overview.
