EVIL SYNNs Wrath of Fenris Gentlemen's Club	Posted - 2009.08.23 11:52:00 - [1] So its out in the public that WOLFY has left the Gallente Federation Militia. And like all corps before it I reserve the right to post in this forum and do the thank yous, point out the flaws and all the other mindless crap other corps have done. So first Factional Warfare. Awesome ain't it! It really was. Where else could you get 10K war targets in empire and for free! We never joined FW on day 1 to capture plexes or capture systems, its the great thing about Eve is you live in a sandbox and even though you are given specific ideas on what the goals are they are not forced upon you. I couldn't do the RP stuff, it just wasn't in me. Dearg Doom started with just 2 pilots.. changed to WOLFY not too long later and now have 50 members all of which are the most blood thirsty pilots I've ever came across. I seen FW as a short term place where we could recruit and become a 0.0 corp some time in the near future. However as I got more and more into FW I knew I would never go back to 0.0. In fact we used to joke about the idiots in 0.0 and their 600v600 lag fests. But then CCP broke something and FW became the lag fest and 20v20 was lag fests. We couldn't get RRBS to work, we couldn't engage the much larger number of Caldari and reverted to gank work. It was still fun and we still recruited from the militia. Then the alliance tourney VI came about and the Militias could enter. I was SO wanting to do this, the year before I got to the final with TRI and so wanted to do it again. To become captain you needed to plex and suddenly there was a need to plex. And plex we did. We have 4 of the 10 that were contacted to pick the captain. Yes 4 out of the top 10 plexers were WOLFY for 2 months! FOOM was in the militia and everyone expected them to front the team, however Freid was nice enough to work with me in co-captain role (WOLFY only had 30 members at this time while FOOM had 100+). However due to RL stuff (and sisi used to close at midnight) it landed on us. Invites were sent to everyone to join us in SiSi we only had 2 weeks to get a team. But it fell mostly on WOLFY with a few noteable exceptions. It was awesome. It really was... ok we never made the TV rounds but we put a hell of a show on. We honestly thought our setup was good on the second fight, we thought.. they are going to TD us.. so we'll bring the best tracking BS in the game. However we still couldn't shoot anything. We had planned to change it round in the next round.. but thats the fun with the tourney.. do you twist or stick. So we moved back to Tama.. the lag monster was still there. 20v40 battles were not even slide shows, they were entering game shows. But we kept at it. Then we found high sec. We had always done the blob in and warp around stuff, but we figured out how to get the freedom of the high sec. And we enjoyed it. Some people were quite happy to bring in their own BS solo and fly around high sec ganking those Caldari AFK'ers on the way from Jita. Many funny killmails were had. We became friends with the local pirates (Swigg) and we used to combine fleets every so often to combat the blob of Caldari. And it made Tama a death trap for Caldari. Then our best night in FW. Yes it was meta gaming, its not big and its not clever but OMG how we laughed. Our intel sources told us that the Squids were going for a -Dark POS in OMS. Our plan was to come from behind and land in the middle of their snipers when they engaged the pos. So we go a spy in fleet to monitor their comms. They headed off through high sec not coming through Tama. We were very upset. We wanted the fight in OMS but they had to come through heyd at some point so we started to get ready to head down there. Then the squid FC just went mental and flew at top speed back to Nourv and jumped into Tama. We were like confused.. but ok.. they heading down our pipe to OMS. EVIL SYNNs Wrath of Fenris Gentlemen's Club	Posted - 2009.08.23 11:53:00 - [2] My spy alt had been promoted to WC of the support fleet (100+ in fleet) and ordered us to cover the gates. Thats when it hit me.. they after our pos! Without dread support taking down a death star was going to be hard.. but taking down a faction fitted death star was going to be funny. However we wanted more than funny. They call went out to swigg to get into ceptors (I didn't know they were going to fighter bomb as well) and us into manning the guns. Their FC gang warped their snipers into position. The fight started, they went after the warp disruptors. At this point I warped their support right on top of the POS. Within 20 minutes all 50+ BS and all support lay dead. They did manage to disable one of the shadow warp distruptors but the number of ceptors bussing around keeping them there was just too much. Once the Large Arties locked on a BS it popped. After that night the squids became paranoid about spys. I mean every side has its spies (you only need to see Gallente Militia chat) but they just went crazy about not letting people into fleet and there was many many emo's in their militia chat. It was a good time. It forced them to fly in corp only gangs which would die a death as soon as they entered Tama. In fact some ended up war deccing the others. The fight went on and on for many more months. But we found a new enenmy. One man, I've never came across a more insulting person in my life a bigger user of other people there has never been. I used to show my corp the stuff he would say about other corps in their own militia, other pilots and ship fittings.. ship fitting that would make baby jesus fly and caracal with hams. He was an idiot of the highest degree. And he used a small neutral pos in Tama for his fighter bombing. So we war decc'ed his alt corp and set to work on the small POS. It went into reinforcement quickly, but it came out at bad time for us... So got repped and a medium got put up in its place. So we reinforced that. We called an alarm clock op, but the squids had 150+ in local for a neutral medium pos. We couldn't ask the militia for help as they would go pirate etc. So we thought we can do this (40 in WOLFY now). We warp in at 5am in the morning. Engage the MASSIVE blob and die in a fire.. and went to bed. Next day the medium became a Large and we reinforced it again. Knowing we would never get it down. So we came up with another plan. This neut corp (who are using the militia for defense) had a moon mining pos in Kedama. We would take it out there, that way we would see the blob comming. So we took all the mods down, headed back to tama to get ships that could shoot the actual tower. But during this time the squids had gotten a blob and we were in Kedama in fail ships that could shoot a tower. But like always, the blob came in.. we engaged and we died. But we took alot of them down first. Lag during all these battles were aweful! But they were awesome. I'm more talking about the gf's we got when we got beat. Mainly the fighters where we win are too many and too common to talk about. We went back to camping tama, playing in their High Sec and killing squids where ever we culd find them. The next step was the creation of the VA Pact. Where some of the largest corps got together to help each other out. My aim from this was to get the good corps out of Villore. Base in low sec, get more kills for my non peak time players. And it worked out really well. QCATS, SOTF and a few others moved out of Villore and set up in BR. And their killboards tell the story. We had some great fights with these guys.. none better than the 20v50 in tama which we won (losing 3 BS killing 20), this was a famous battle as it was the first since the CCP breakdown where the lag was OK (change text file for the win). I've been in FW since day 1, all my 0.0 money is all gone, my sec status is starting to hurt and I want to try something new. But most of all FW is blob tastic. Its funny been speaking to some caldari and Gallente these last few days and they say the number of small fleet comming out is way up because they don't have to blob to get past Tama. So maybe we have been the victims of our own success but the BLOBBING was getting way out of control. When the Caldari fleet comes through tama with more people in it that are actually in the Gallente Militia channel something is wrong. So it was time to move on and say good bye. To be honest we've had more fun fighting BYDI than the squids lately. We had a nice war, soured slightly by some neg comments from a few people, but on the most it was a good war with lots of 1v1's and nice gank and switches. The future. Yeah we are off to 0.0. We have enjoyed FW, I can't get into who won the war as they Gallente are still there, abit much smaller now. When France was over run in WWII I'm sure the Germans thought they had won the war as well, but while there is 1 man still fighting in an island in the far east the war is still going on! But I also ain't going to sit here and say Gallente are winning. As the numbers drop they fall closer to losing. But they are killing much more, maybe thats cause there is much more to kill! As for the LP for kills... meh that was us trying to RP, you don't need a reward for killing. To my enemies I salute you. I have seen some really crap FC's turn into very good FC's on the enemies side I have come across some great pilots on both sides. I have the upmost respect for Pervs and 22nd and what they did in the plexes (respect does not mean I wanted to do it) <NO Damar I ain't mentioning you here> I always took it as respect that the 22nd would leave local as we entered. Pervs on the other hand would always fight (in a defensive plex) even if I did jump into my fail faction cruiser than I had just moved without checking the fitting. The rest of the corps in the Caldari need to grow some bolloxs and move into low sec. Learn to fly in small gangs... Learn to do something on your own. To the Gallente, you guys are awesome small gang PvP'ers. To the members of WOLFY past, present and future. FW was good to us, very good to us. We are in the top 80 killing corps of all time in Battleclinc, our killboard registered over 1000 real kills every month minimum and we made some good friends in Swigg, BYDI, Caldri and Galente. Will we return.. who knows? Once our wallets are fat and the killboard reeks we might. But we hope our new Alliance will have a killboard to put our present one to shame! FW has been great for us and I'm sure we will miss it but things had gotten to the point where caldari prefered to travel to the amarr/minmi front rather than fight us in tama and quite frankly that sucked. So new things beckon and I have no doubt we will have a great time in null sec. Thanks to all those we fought against over the past year or so, BYDI, SWIGG, PERVS (we're gonna miss your smack), and the caldari. You made this the best time in my eve career regardless of win or loose. Thanks to our allies, MENTL, SOTF, val and FOOM. Its been great flying with you guys especially MENTL. I wish you all well where ever your eve future takes you.

Being in the Minmatar militia I didn't ever fly with you guys but if there was any corps I knew the name of in Gal Mil it was Wolfy. I know the feeling with FW and being skint on the ISK. I have a Jita alt building my war funds now and noticed a few of your guys in Jita not in Militia last week and wondered what was up. It's sad to see yet another organized FW corp leave with blobbing being one of the key reasons. Maybe one day the majority of the Militia members from all sides, will figure out they don't need 20 and 30 man gangs to go out on a roam. Then again maybe they wont..any way good luck out in null sec, hope you find some good fights.

Nearly a year ago I was picked up to a Dearg Doom/ ECP-R/ Azure gang from Tama local where I had been soloing for some time in my brand spanking new Ranis, that night was the most intense fun I had ever had in EVE and I applied to Dearg immediately. Later most Dearg and many ECP-R switched to WOLFY and great fights continued to happen, some awesome memories for certain. Lately FW was getting more and more meh for most of us so I guess this is for the better, interesting to see what our new home has to offer and indeed it's a testament to the tight-knit group of friends we have become that very few decided to not come with us... We might be back someday though, who knows? (Though 5 minutes after I xed up for my 1st short roam with our new allies we ganked a Loki, that doesn't really happen regularly in Tama yet does it :P ) --- WOLFY is recruiting!

When we first encountered WOLFY (was derag doom at the time) was in black rise. Tbh I dont think we liked each other much, they were a bunch of lamer careberas and we were a bunch of useless pirates. we used to pew pew each other around Pavanaka. When we (I was CEO of snigwaffe at the time) moved to Tama we found a common goal in the ownage of the Faildari blobs that came thru and became great friends, and stll are to this day. BYDI, local 'villains' etc all good fun and I'm sure we will meet again. Swigg, MENTL and allies outside gallente FW I've learnt a lot flying with you guys. Gallente Militia. I will genuinely miss you guys, esp Q-cats, SOTF, Val and Vill-accords. Its a pity the plex war was 'lost' as such but I hope FW picks up again with the new patch. I've been a plexer and a PvP junkie too and like to think that the two are very much compatible. (This might be Ash's last post ever due to being lynched by fellow Wolfy members) I cross my fingers for FW as a whole, lets have less blobbing and better PvP, plexes can be a way to break it up into small gang stuff. I remain a fan, some of the best PvP I've had has been over the completely meaningless plexes in systems who's sovreignty matters not a bit. How many Caldari does it take to take a plex? Lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots... apparently
