After 150 tickets have sold, I'll add a bonus Faction battleship prize with an approximated 500M value to the prizepool
Okay, so the basics of this round:
1,000 tickets available!
ALL PAYMENTS TO PLOTTERY AND NOONE ELSE!
Prizes!
1. Fitted + rigged Nightmare + Low-grade crystal set
2. Fitted + rigged Nightmare + Low-grade crystal set
3. Fitted + rigged Vargur
4. Rigged Raven Navy Issue
5. BONUS FACTION BATTLESHIP WHEN 150 TICKETS HAVE SOLD!
See Your tickets here!
If you can't be bothered reading the rules though, it's pretty simple:
To buy 1 ticket, send 10,000,000 to plottery with the reason: plottery1
To buy 2 tickets, send 20,000,000 to plottery with the reason: plottery1
To buy 3 tickets, send 30,000,000 to plottery with the reason: plottery1
ALL PAYMENTS TO PLOTTERY AND NOONE ELSE!
And so on, you may of course buy as many tickets as you see fit, no upper or lower limit.
If the amount is for example 9,999,999.99 this will be viewed as a donation.
If you however send 11,000,000.00 then 10,000,000.00 will go towards a ticket, and
1,000,000.00 will be taken as a donation, should you however fill up with another
9,000,000.00 before the lottery is over, then you will have payed a total of 20,000,000.00
which amounts to 2 tickets =)
Make sure the REASON is all lowercase please.
Winners will be announced In-game channel: plottery
and naturally shortly thereafter be announced here as well, then contracted their winnings!
There will be independent draws to assign each prize to a winner, the method used to do this
will be a simple randomizing function in mysql:
order by rand() limit 1;
5 times over =)

Sorry, should of added that of course, well it's once every 2 hours that the database updates.
Also please remember (saw you had done this misstake michael) that the search is to be done exactly the way your name is spelt
Which means:
My name is plottery, if i do a search for Plottery it won't show anything
i.e the search is sensitive to lower and uppercase characters

Kind of, I'm wanting to contact Darknesss about this, according to my adressbook he's not yet online though, neither was Chribba for that matter, and FX900 looked busy with his own lottery, but once Darknesss is on, I shall contract all the ships and stuff to him, for sure, and he'll post here as well i presume once he has the items.

Yes, you're in the database for 50 million or 5 tickets, however you want to see it.
I'm not sure why it wont work when you search, cause it most certianly does when I do, I also had a look at the raw database, and sure enough, you're in there, so you'll be in the draw =)

Welcome to a new class this week. I hope you all brought your pencils and paper with you today as we have some writing to do.
First off we grab some required ingredients for tonight's issue of Making something with Freyya.

Gently pour it into a long and narrow glass which has a wet edge on top. Sprinkle some rigs on the wet edge and add 2 slices of LG Crystal sets...
Watch in amazement at your newly created super beverage! We call it: Plottery Winjuice, with that extra bit of bite!
You can have the original Plottery Winjuice by sending 10 million isk per bottle to Plottery. All described above is missing the secret ingredient that only Plottery himself can supply you with so start making transfers!

A huge apology to all those who's been wanting to buy tickets!
Without my knowledge a firewall had been reset only allowing local connections as a result, which I didn't know about til Darknesss contacted me in-game, this however has been fixed. my sincerest apologies, I should of been on top of that from the start, but wasn't aware.
As a recompense to the huge downtime, I'll throw in yet another faction battleship, Navy Megathron sound good? It does to Me =)
As far as solf tickets go, to date there's been 381 sold tickets, about 100 of those sold in the span of a 3-day period in the middle of this month, the amount of ticket I'm aiming to sell however remains at 1000, and as near enough 40% have been sold I see no reason to change that at this moment.
Also do please remember all the side-contests I offer:

After reassurances by both Darkness and Plottery this deserves a bump to the top. Eventhough i'm shooting myself in the foot here with minimizing my chances to win one of these awesome prizes by getting you lot to buy a ticket or 2.

HI guys, Just want to re-assure everyone that this lottery is NOT dead in the least, you can keep buying tickets, I have a new lottery system in place that I'm testing out, and it'll be far superior to the one I had and will allow me to do so much morer with it in the future .. I suspect you'll find the link to check your tickets etc will change by the end of the weekend.
SO a HUGE "My bad" to those who thought this lottery was dead, it is NOT dead by any means, it's just that I strive to improve the current system, enabling both you and me more info about the lottery! In conjunction with that RL has been hectic, so I completely forgot to update this thread about what was going on.

OK Darknesss was really helpful and said something about plottery going inactive.
He suggested I talk to babyblade regarding a refund and I got one based on how many tickets this site showed (http://plottery.dev.good2go.nl/lotteries/1)
No idea who babyblade is (main or alt of plottery maybe) but if you want a refund I suggest you start there.
IMHO this lottery should be just shutdown and proactively refunded because I'm sure there are many people who sent money off and have forgotten about it. Unless this post keeps getting bumped they will not see these instructions.

I'm not sure how the whole "Lottery secured by X" thing works, I am somewhat curious to see how this pans out to see what stock one should place in the securing of a lottery. i.e. is it just words or does some action come from it.
All going fine (most lotteries) the person securing is there just to provide creditability/trust to the lottery.
But in the instance (like this one) where the lottery proprietor goes missing/awol/deactivates, what does the securer do?
I imagine Darknesss still has the ships otherwise the lottery is no longer secured. What happens to them now? Does he keep them? Raffle them off? Sell them? Or hold onto as per the agreement?
Does the securer have the authority to call it quits and shutdown the lottery or does it sit in a holding pattern forever in case the OP returns. Obviously holding onto it is no skin off the nose of the securer, as long as they keep holding the ships they are keeping up their end of the bargain.
Just what does "Secured by X" really mean :)

its not about the isk for me, i'd just like to see it handled right.
either refund all, or hold a lottery between the prizes and tickets available.
i will not make any effort contacting so-and-so, who's an alt of mr x, just to get my 30 mil back. This lottery was started by someone, then 'secured' by someone, surely there must be someone who can finish it.
