hey all!!!
i was wondering if it was safe to pirate in CVA space? ive been there a few times without being blown up but ive never stayed very long. is it decently safe to kill NPC pirates in CVA space? id like to get my sec status up higher.
also, to get past a 5 sec status do i need to kill faction NPC pirates or will just any nullsec NPC pirates do?

im sorry i see i made a mistake i my original post in the first sentence. im sorry about that. :( i was wondering if it was safe to attack NPC pirates in CVA space? i dont wanna get blown up by a roaming nullsec pirate gang cause ive got expensive +5 implants in my head (and i dont have a jump clone).
i guess i have a second question too! lol are there any jump clone making services? how much and where might i find them?

yes its 100% safe you can even bring multi billion iks faction ships with officer mods and mbe 100% safe or even rat in capital ships

super!!! thx!!! but idk about the capital ships part. we tried to bring in a capital ship into a few CVA systems and we werent allowed to. do you mean building a capital ship fleet in the system?

CVA space is NRDS (not red don't shoot) so unless you attack people you should be left alone by CVA and allies...but keep in mind pirates will visit those systems often to catch ratters and other easy preys.

thx!!! i was worried about that but i assumed from above that CVA did rounds every few hours to rinse the pirates.

While the locals try to keep CVA space safe from pirates, there are constant incursions of pirate gangs roaming through the areas. Not all of the access points are monitored 24/7 so there is no real certainty of security. There is just as much chance for you to get podded there as ratting in some friendly alliances 0.0 space. I suggest getting a jumpclone and ratting without implants if you don't want to risk losing yours. If you cant/dont want to use a jump clone then be VERY alert while ratting and find some out of the way corner with low traffic and then thoroughly check out any people you see come into local (check their bio, people in CVA space are asked to post 'friend of cva' in there if they mean no harm, this is no guarantee that a pirate wont do this however.). You can also try to get into one of their intel channels so that you can have some intel on hostile movements around the area.
