I don't know anything about the scarcely provided content in the OP, but I want to ask if there wasn't a time in CAOD, where obvious Alt-Chars weren't allowed to post.
Just saying, because it got out of hand in the past few weeks/months imo.
Don't get me wrong: I ain't saying that the post-quality was better in the past, but you usually knew where it came from.

THE INTERNET. got banned pretty hard a couple months ago; this new slackness on alts is apparently something new, or people have just found a new way around the rules, are aren't publicizing it as hard as we did with THE INTERNET. In which case they should.

right, that's the issue. if you go after the goon memes then you're anti-goon and you get drama. if you go for the anti-goon trolls then you're for goons and you get drama. both have the chance of being bad PR for ccp so they're taking this hands off approach based on arbitrary but fair rules (fair in the sense they're applied equally, even though they don't make much sesnse). things like no killboard links, must have 10 people in corp, and we will close threads randomly.
i think a lot of it is cause there isn't a Great War anymore. that was our sense of purpose and identity in the game so damn long that people are sorta confused what to do with CAOD which used to be the great us vs them field. other thing is that half the alliances are caod banned nowadays.
but like the "who is goonswarm" guy today, that really can be deleted with nothing lost.
