I was on 1280x1024 up until a week ago. It's playable, but you really want more real estate for Windows Online. I switched to a 22" 16:10 (1680x1050 native) and have more than enough space for my scrubcasualbearing needs. |

The only way I have done gaming since 2006 has been on a 60" television. Sure most max out at 1080p, but it is cheaper than buying a second monitor, plus I don't have space in my room for a second screen. |

If your graphics card supports 2 video outputs I suggest you keep the old monitor and just run 2. I have 2 monitors currently both running different resolutions and different sizes. Windows basicaly configures it for you. Makes maps or brousing the forums whilst palying the game nice and easy |

I have 2 x 24" 1080p 1920*1080 which gets me a resolution of 3840*1080 if i want it, thats awsome, but i usually multi box with both screens. I actually just got the 2nd screen 2 weeks ago and now i wonder how i ever lived without it. twice the gameplay, twice the addiction.
TBH if you want to really appreciate eve go for 1920*1080 at least, you will get a 24" monitor for as little as -ú110 (gbp) for a decent budget monitor |

It depends on your hardware, really. EVE doesn't need the latest and greatest computer or anything but if you run it in a high res then you'll need the hardware to back it up. 23" 1920x1080 here, no complaints. |

Using a single 26" widescreen at 1920 x 1080. Still wish I had a bigger viewing area or additional screens but that costs money. I found a dead cat on the side of the road so I -átook it home and put some honey on it and cooked it and then I ate it. Is that bad? do do do dooo... GÖ¬ GÖ½

^THIS^
Monitors are cheap, skip the dual and go triple. I have 3 displays, 23" @ 1920x1080 each. Sometimes I play as 3 different screens (Main / Alt-1 / Alt-2) and sometimes I play with the main character on 5760x1080 (with horizontal being a big bigger due to bezel correction).
Note: 1200 pixels on the vertical allows for a few more targets on the overview without having to scroll down looking that primary up.

I have 3 monitors. A 27" in the center (1920x1080) and old 17"s on either side (1280x1024). I run in windowed mode with the account requiring the most attention on the 27" and the second account on one of the 17"s. That leaves a 17" for EVE HQ, Skype, a (full-featured) web browser, and fetish XXX movies. It's not paranoia if everyone really is out to get you.-á |

I do not think you need a bigger screen I think you need a second screen. Then you hit the escape function and set screen size to double what you have now 2560X1024. Then center ship on left or right 50% of frame size. Then drag all of your open windows over to the other screen. Presto a clean clear game screen while all of your windows are open on the other screen and now you can open even more as you have the whole screen to play with.
Note it is difficult to do this with one 4X3 monitor and the second a 6X9 or wide screen monitor as they run different resolutions. Both monitors should be of the same type but sizes can varry just not the resolution. Example a 19" and a 25" as long as they both are 4X3 or both 6X9's. You also could not run one screen at 1280X1024 and the other at something higher than 1280X1024 and split the data from one client across both screens.
Note this is not running multiple clients but is running one client on multiple screens for more space. |
