Zakarazor	Posted - 2009.08.26 15:01:00 - [1] Ok...i'm bored and got some isk to put on the line so i want to know what ship i should use to solo wormholes...well...the low grade ones anyway. I can fly amarr ships up to HAC. (my missile skills isnt that hot so the sac wouldnt work to well. i'm working on that though) I can also fly gallente ships up to the same level. i got BS 5 for both gallente and amarr. The ship i will use need to have probe launcher to be safe and to be able to solo atleast C2 anomilies(how do you know which rating they got?) I'm willing to up a maxiumum of 200 mil into this.
Meiyang Lee Gallente Azteca Transportation Unlimited Gunboat Diplomacy	Posted - 2009.08.26 15:10:00 - [2] The sacrilege has by far the best tank out of the Amarr HACs, so I'd recommend that, it also has a nice spare high-slot for a probe-launcher (unlike the Zealot). You're going to be fairly short-ranged though with Heavy Assault Launchers, so an AB (or MWD) will be required to close the distance, those ships hit hard, so the longer you get pounded without shooting back, the harder it will be. Can't speak for the Gallente HACs, as I don't fly them, but I imagine that the Ishtar is going to have difficulties due to drone aggro. Anything but a drone based battleship should be ok against sleepers though, drones won't live long with the Sleeper tendency to alpha those first before turning their attention to you. You'll need a reasonably beefy omni-tank to cope, but nothing to extreme if you're not going above class 2 or 3. The battlecruisers may represent a good middle ground in terms of tank and damage capability though, especially considering their price-tag.
Zakarazor	Posted - 2009.08.26 16:00:00 - [3] Edited by: Zakarazor on 26/08/2009 16:00:12 how do this look? or dont it got enough gank? 5 arbalest HAMs 1 prober 1 AB 1 web 2 cap rechargers 2 armor reps med 1 DCU 1 EANM 1 BCU 1 ccc 1 aux nano a set of small drones this tank 372 dps and do 214 dps without drones. is this enough? being able to salvage at the same time would be nice but i'm likely to have a alt in a covops with me anyway. if you put the alt into the equation would a zealot be better? the alt would be flying a covops at most. Edit: PS: also...what damage type should i focus on doing?

Also, a little tip - Ive found that putting a large cap battery does wonders if youve got the cpu to fit it. The problem with an alt in a covops is - what if you make a mistake, or arent paying enough attention to it while your doing a site? it might blow up, leaving you potentially stuck in a wh. Edit: if i drop a cap recharger for a large battery i can switch the CCC for another aux nanopump, brining my tank up to 420 omni dps

Especially if they are there just for the probing skill...or are they being used during the fight as well?
