Super cloak mode is toggled on/off from the context menu of the cloaking device.
Super cloaked mode is like cloaked mode except the pilot disappears from local channel. Super cloaked mode players no longer get local updates.
A ship enters Super cloaked mode if all the following is true. Cloak has been active for 60 seconds or more. No control has been touched for 60 seconds. ( Including dscanner ) Ship is stationary. There is nothing within 100km of ship.
Imagine the uses.

One reason I don't think this would be too useful is because what would be the point? I don't understand how this would be a useful thing in the game. It's an interesting idea, however. Maybe give a little more explanation on the actual mechanics while IN supercloaked mode.

You would use it to set up ambushes and pass intel undetected.
The 100km / stationary / no dscanner stipulations are to give balance. So you cant just sit in the middle of a roid belt and grab anything that warps to 0, you would need to use good timing and judgement to grab targets and it wouldnt be without risk as you might not be aware of new locals.

so you no longer get local updates (I'm assuming this means people entering/exiting system as well as chat).
You also can't touch your controls (move around) you can't scan.
Other than sitting 101km off of a gate I don't see how much recon could really be done here...

Cloaking is fine as-is... local needs to be set to Recent Speakers (w-space) mode, for everyone. ~ Santiago Fahahrri Galactic Geographic |
