Everanking: Archon Lottery
Make sure you read the complete post, it contains important information on what you need todo to attend!
Introduction
since several people have been asking me ingame (and one on the forums) to do
another carrier lottery, even while my nightmare lottery) is still running, i have decided to launch another one of my Archon Lotteries.
All of my lotteries, including a history of my previous lotteries can be found at: http://lottery.everanking.net/
The Prize
An Archon (Carrier)
How to take part
You take the amount of Tickets you want, multiply that with the price (The ticket-price is 1 Mio. ISK)
and send that to the character making this post, stating the reason everanking07
IMPORTANT: Seriously, you need to give a reason
with the payment, and the reason must to be everanking07
This Reason will be used to match your transaction to the Lottery, write anything else or even nothing and
you will not get tickets.
What happens then
Every two hours all payments will be read from the API.
each payment will be divided by the price, and for each full paid ticket, one ticket will be
registerd to the character which send the ISK. Two transactions will not be added to eachother,
if a transaction contains ISK that are not enough for a full ticket those will be seen as donation.
Examples:
transaction 1: 2,000,000.00
will give you 2 tickets
transaction 1: 1,999,999.99
will give you 1 ticket and 999,999.99 ISK will be seen as a donation
confirmation
You can see the tickets you bought at:
http://lottery.everanking.net/lotteries/8
if your tickets do not show up: remember it refreshs every two hours,
also make sure that you wrote in the right case, it is case sensitive!. (if you are named: Peter Powers, do not write "peter powers" or you will not find your tickets (they still will take part though)
When the amount of tickets for the lottery exceeds 1000
the winner will be drawn at the end of the run of the script that does all the magic.
The Winner will get his prize contracted in a lowsec system in the same region like Jita as soon as i log on the next time(should not be more then 3 days)
How will the winner be drawn?
SQL Query, limit 1, order by random()
Make sure you send your ISK to the right Character! The Character to send it to is: lotterypay
if you want to help speed this up a bit, make a post when you bought some tickets, so this thread gets bumped up.
BONUS
My Lotteries feature a special bonus,
sometimes people buy huge amounts of tickets,
so people who take the risk submitting that much ISK to the lottery
will get a (very small) extra bonus.
If you attend this lottery and buy more then 100 tickets, you will
get 1 free Ticket for each 100 tickets you bought, and that free Ticket
will be valid in the next Lottery im doing.
Also People who win the Lottery will not get this Bonus
(they allready got a ****ing awesome Prize =)

I'm actually quite happy this doesn't run faster. I'm running very low on isk, but i can't stop playing in any lottery that pops up.

you had some strange characters added to the end of the reason with the payment..
i have spawned them manually..

I'm interested in this, but I have a problem.
The coming monday, I'm moving to the UK. I'll have to live out of a hotel/whatever for 2 weeks before I can move in, and after that I probably won't be on EVE for at least another week (freshers week). If I win, will I still be able to claim my prize after this?

I first saw it in jita. And your lotos will always be my favorites :D It's nice to see some small lotos. Try one with a t3 ship. That would be awesome.

a few words on the current status:
since sunday the API seems to be down,
i was told it will be back up today, but,
well we will see.
this means currently my lottery script
is not getting the information from the wallet,
which means the tickets are not spawned
(thats pretty much the reason
why it does not update atm)
after looking at the wallet and making
a rough estimation, i believe i can say
its quite close to hitting the draw limit,
but it is not hit yet.
(about 240 tickets have been sold since the last update
which puts the ticket ammount to 953).
those tickets will be spawned as soon as the API
is running again (blame CCP)
if (at that time) the tickets sold
exceed the limit (1k tickets), then the draw will be triggered
all tickets bought between 2009-09-13 18:24:04 and that moment
will take part in the lottery - no ticket will be lost.
should for some reason the amount of tickets raise to far above the limit,
say 100 tickets more then the limit, i will add additional prizes.

looks like the API is now working after DT (well it is on my evemon) so hopefully 1000 tickets have been sold and i can win my Archon
