I'm kind of tired reading about EBank every single thread, so I thought we could have a fun little thread highlighting our biggest mistakes made trading in Eve. (If your biggest mistake was putting your ISK in EBank, I guess that's fine. -_-)
I think it'll be fun, and new traders will get to learn at the same time!
P.S. I've just switched my career to trading, so I personally don't have any big mistakes to report yet.

Meh, nothing much, probably lost 200 mill since i started trading cause I typed in the wrong sell or buy price and it insta sold/bought. Also lost quite a few mill due to not seeing that the price was being manipulated and then dropped quite sharply.

Worst mistake was leaving off a (.) and adding an extra zero to a 15mil buy order. Ended up with a 150,000,000 isk implant or something ridiculous.
The guy that ended up getting the isk was nice enough to return 90% of it as he was another trader and understood exactly what happened.
I can only say from this day forward I always delete the ENTIRE buy amount / sell amount and retype the entire thing when updating orders. It is way more likely you will screw up if your deleting the back end of a orders price up to the decimal point and adding additional numbers.
You just might forgot to type (.) and your in for a BIG surprise after you hit okay.

i was cought with my pants down by the latest trit price crash with nearly 30 billion of it on stock. the crash came totally unexpected for me. that loss ate about 1/3 of the profits i made from the mineral price spike before the trit crash.
during the years of trading i lost about 10 billion isk to typos alone

I completely deny buying my own bulk orders out when I accidentally dock at the wrong station, or getting into bidding wars with myself (not the 0.01 isk variety, more the 1m isk variety of bidding wars)

I lost about 400m on Neurovisual Input Matrixes, due to being on vacation and unable to log in when the patch hit.
