Hello folks, many years ago i went to austria working with my dad and where we had to deliver there was a vendor that was selling various foods out of a trailer near the entrance. My father told me to try a sandwhich/roll he'd had previously which was a block of a mystery meat served with sliced pickle/gherkin and mustard. now this was delicious to my young palate but i cannot for the life of me remember what it was called.
this is now driving me to distraction so much so that i have had to throw myself on the mercy of the rabble that is the eve forums :)
thanks and oh dears in advance

Where exactly in Austria ? Vienna or somewhere else ? Or did you mean "entrance to the country" as opposed to "entrance to wherever we had to deliver stuff" ? Also, how exactly did the meat (and sandwich) look like ? Shape, consistency, colour, stuff like that.

No kidding. This is more of a mystery to us than the OP.

Actually, I bet plenty of EVE players have been to Austria (heck, I have), so if the OP could give a bit more details somebody would eventually come up with the thing he's looking for (as there's several "sandwiches" that could fit the profile, and it's not like each have some specific name that's not just something that would translate into "<whatever meat> sandwich", and the same food could have different names depending on the place you got it from).

Edited by: Arun Das on 26/08/2009 21:19:13 okies here we go, it was oblong in shape and looked like a hotdog in texture, i had it in salzburg outside the depotit was served in a round roll not a hot dog roll if memory serves the pickles in it were sliced length ways. and it was about 17 years ago that i had one. but it wasn't as pink in colour as spam thanks for playing though.
